Impressed with SURGE Workout Fuel

would it hurt to also use this with ripped fuel pills. those work great for me, but i want to try it with Surge Workout Fuel. would it alter results?
From what I can tell, Ripped Fuel doesn’t contain anything special that will pose a problem when used with Surge Workout Fuel.

After researching and reading the many posts, I’m sold on buying the Surge Workout and Recovery.

However, if anyone would care to comment I would like to know if you had a choice, would you take the post or the recovery? I’m leaning towards the recovery. I currently follow the WS template and I can say that the ME lower body days kill me.

I run out of energy about 3/4 into workout and the last 1/4 is just pure will and determination. I hope the WO fuel fixes that. But I’m more interested in recovery.

What do you guys think?

I never thought I’d be saying this before I tried this product, but I’d choose Surge Workout Fuel over Surge Recovery if I had to make a choice.

Luckily, my supplement budget is such that I don’t have to choose.

Training: German Volume Training

Supplements:

 1. Surge Workout Fuel - 1 scoop pre workout
 2. Beta-7 2X daily
 3. Surge Recovery - 1 scoop pre and post wo
 4. whey protein - 1 scoop pre and post wo

Energy is great. No caffeine or stimulants, just the Surge Workout Fuel

In BT’s defense, my guess is that his intended meaning was not that the beta-alanine content of Surge Workout Fuel is underdosed for its task, but rather that the dosage is not going to do as much as what two gram 3x/day supplementation can do.

Fundamentally 1x/day administration (or sipped during an hour or anything similar to this) cannot obviate the value of more frequent administation, because conversion to carnosine becomes enzyme limited – only so much can be converted per hour.

So if he found that he did better continuing to use Beta-7 2x/day on days using Surge Workout Fuel, that’s not a surprising finding. And if he’s answering in the context of, if using Surge Workout Fuel, does that mean that beta-alanine’s bases are totally covered and there’s no value to further supplementation, his answer is correct.

Thanks Bill. My point was exactly that the dosage in SWF is not going to do as much as what two gram 3x/day supplementation can do. That’s it and that’s all. I also state somewhere that I use SWF and that I like the results as a stand alone. If you have the budget to use SWF then, I’d personally throw in Beta-7 too in order to get more bang for your buck.

So I bought three tubs, only used one, and I’ve recently found myself in financial trouble. I have an unopened Lemonade and Fruit Punch, if anybody is interested please PM me. It’s a great product, but I need money for food. Help a brother out!

Quick question about using the two Surges…

My karate school has started an MMA class 3x per week and I’ve been doing it as much as possible. Lately, I’ve taken to packing a blender bottle of Surge Recovery to sip during the class rather than water. I’ve got some Surge Workout Fuel lying around as well, so how would this sound for a class that is very cardio intensive and hard on the body overall:

2 Scoops Surge Workout Fuel, starting around 30 mins before class
1 Scoop Workout Fuel, 2 Scoops Recovery, for sipping during class and afterwards if there’s any left

Your timing sounds pretty much spot on. Surge Workout Fuel works wonders for grappling intense MMA especially, i.e. wrestling and jiu jitsu.

**also: Surge Recovery is the bomb for recovery from an intense workout.

So I am a beginner that has just started to get into T-Nation and what Biotest has to offer. And in my ignorance, i’ve been drinking Surge Workout Fuel after my workouts (thinking it was a PWO drink), and taking a BCAA supplement before and during my workout.

I’ve ordered the Surge Recovery and it can’t come soon enough.

My question is, how much have been doing wrong, and it is really that bad that i drank the Surge Workout Fuel as a PWO drink.
Did you notice any enhanced recovery from drinking SWF post workout?
