Maybe. But Japan is a cool place to have fun in. If you’ve never been, you should. FWIW Beer can be cheaper than coffee in Japan in some locations. What can I say, they like to have few!

But back on topic - you’d be taller than the average Japanese. So it’s all good.
If you buy individual beers in Japan you’re looking at a comparable cost to N. America, but lots of places have “nomi ho dai” (all you can drink), where you pay 20-25 bucks for 2 hours of all the beer you want. The service is usually lightning fast too.
NOMY HO DAY?

AWESOME!!!
Yes, nomi ho dai rules.

One of the things that keeps me in this country.

Here in Taiwan the beer at 7-11 is cheap and you can drink on the street. A far cry from Canada where the beer is only available at vendors attached to the end of motels usually or the Liquor Control Board.

Ok, here’s something I wonder about.

There’s a guy at my gym who’s about 6 feet tall and weighs 225. I’m using him as sort of the prototype for an in-shape, muscular man. I think he’s played rugby at some point. He’s “normal-lean” – like an athlete, not like a bodybuilder on stage.

Now, if a man trained exactly the same way but he was 5’2’’ or 5’3’', how much do you think he’d weigh? What’s the normal weight range for a very short, muscular man?

Yep, street beers are awesome, too.

Normal?

It is so highly individual… just like with anybody else.

I had a close friend who was an inch shorter than me but weighed about 10lbs more. I still looked more muscular because my joints and bones were much smaller than his. His bones were much thicker but he looked like he had less muscle.

The guys around my height (5’2") who have been at this for a while… but are not bodybuilder size… seem to usually be around 140-150 leaner lbs. The 5’2" pro bodybuilders from what I know of are around 180-200lbs. Lee Priest was fairly short too… and was like 230, right guys?

I’m a 6’2" Warrior…

if you’re taller than me, you are probably uncordinated…

if you’re shorter than me, I have better reach and sex appeal…

At 5’3 I feel pretty short. I have a female coworker who’s 6’+ who offers me regular “high fives” just to mock me.
Ha Ha!!!

You should speak into her vagina to get back at her.

This thread is similar to the thread in which I was declared the most badass T-Nation member.

Well, I’m 5’4" and … don’t have anything to offer here.

King of the Midgets

Short guys can be really intimidating - especially when there are lots of them.

They should actually be heavier, around 227 because gravity is more powerfeul closer to the ground. Much more powerfeul.

Which is a conundrum because I thought all Scandinavians were required to be at least 6 feet.
Just the swedes. At 6’2" I’m pretty average.

Dutch people are surprisingly short.
The average male height in Holland is like 6’1". Even the chicks are around 5’9" on average. I don’t know if that’s short to you, but seeing as you guys are all like 30ft tall I can see your point.
And here I am… being 5’9…

So true… I’ve come to realize it doesn’t matter how much progress you’ve made to other bodyparts, if you don’t have hawt abz you’re not shit.
Chicks dig the gunz too.
Agreed. But the haters in the gym don’t respect the gunz, it’s either hawt abz or you’re obese lol
Thank God I have never experienced this. lol

I enjoy the gifs posted by Louddog but not his avatar.
