Hes alright. Pretty mediocre as far as music goes if you ask me

“No nigga, you’re moms pussy is allright. I’m the mothafuckin immortal Technique bitch.”

Thats a direct quote in response to that statement.

I’ll tell you why Immortals the best in the rap biz. For starters, he has the best lyrical schemes of any performer in the hip hop industry, popular guys like Florida or Akon aren’t even on the same level.

He also refuses to rap about money/cars/bitch’s/dumb shit that has become appallingly common today. Instead he talks about issues like poverty and racial issues in America/abroad.

Immortal refuses t be a corporate pawn. Rappers like Florida are a dime a dozen, and they have zero creative influence on their music because their producer runs the show.

He fucking says whatever the fuck he wants to say wether you like it or not! If anything, hes just trying to promote awareness and discussion.[/quote]

You’re comparing him to complete trash rappers.

annukai are the lizard men or half alien /god from the sumarian writings, but yes your moms pussy is aiiiiight lol … fuck all you immortal technique haters, so does it hurt to know everything your taught is a god damn lie…

For the record, thats fucking retarded
secondly, I do listen to Immortal Technique, and have for much longer than probably the most of you (before revolutionary)

so I didn’t just “look it up” I actually know for a fact he talks about an ‘elite group of lizard men ruling the world’

His politics are retarded, and he claims that people who disagree with him are out of the loop, and are many expletives etc.

for the record, freedom of speech is one of my all time favorite songs

how do you know lizard men dont control the world?

wait! rofl lizard men lmfao fucking lizard men

vampires what?

ghahahah
feels good man

His content is intellectual diarrhea. Everything that comes out of his mouth is pure shit.

I used to like him put eventually i got sick of his delivery and him being angry in every song. I’ve moved on to hip hop and rap that’s still lyerical but easy on the ears, such as Black Star.

True, that’s probably why I like his song You Never Know so much, it’s a lot less angry…at least until the end ha. But it’s a great story-telling song anyway.

see that’s why I think their is a hierarchy when it comes to listening to hip hop that develops over a period of time…so, I probably can’t say anything to change your mind now lol…

when people first get into listening to underground hip hop, they get into artists like technique, jedi mind tricks, atmosphere, and other guys like that…I did too…

then they realize that although IT is pretty good…he is lacking some skills when it comes to being a well rounded mc…listen to someone like joe budden on “three sides of a story”…technique could never make that song with his current skill level…

I will say that IT has suceeded in being sucessful in his paticular genre of hip hop and he has a pretty decent sized fan base that appears to be growing even though he hasn’t made a new full album in years…so props to him for that, but he isn’t the best…

It’s funny, that’s definitely true of any genre. And there’s usually nothing you can do to persuade people that their favorite artist is just the tip of the iceberg.

If you liked that first slam poetry link then feast your ears on this:

and then tune in to his album : amethyst Rockstar. as far as delivery and lyrics go, it’s pretty close to the top. (his latest album with Trent Reznor isn’t so great, but that’s just personal taste)

second track from the album

immortal technique is great, purchased all three albums the day they dropped, creation and destrucion, crimes of the heart from the 3rd world album with green latern is probably my favourite track at the moment. The issue with him is everything he raps about isnt fact yet you get morons who believe so, also his flow is all over the beats(it has been getting better as his career continues) and as said delivery.

who’s better than him?

jay-z, nas, chuck d(best voice in hip hop period), blackthought(most underrated rapper ever), mos def

“and truth be told if skills sold lyrically I’d wanna be talib kweli, and rhyme like common sense, I did 5 mill I’m rhyming with common sense”

kanye west, his first three albums did have strong messages and he wasnt berating the listener with curses and put it in a way that did not offend many listeners ears.

There are plenty better than him, he puts out quality rhymes and as long as he does that I will continue purchasing his albums

You know, at least if you had picked a better quote to argue your point I could agree to disagree…
That verse was positively…alright.

blah blah blah

The 3rd World was absolute shit but I attribute that to Green Lantern’s presence.

I’m not a pussy, I can listen to an angry man go off for 80 minutes.

Lyrically he’s fairly talented but his flow… nope. Not having it. At least he improved a bit from some of the embarrassing moments on Vol 1.
