Yeah, immortal technique’s deep. I talked to him on myspace about Israel/palestine, dude knows his shit…
Also of note is ‘never again’ by remedy, off of the wu tang swarm album. About the holocaust.
You into conscious hip hop man? Who do you like?

What a joke.
If you listened, you’d hear the guy coms with this front about being revolutionary, but he’s just speaking truth. It’s written. But, i can see how it could appear repellant
Mumia Abu Jemal is a convicted cop killer. I have been wondering when he would pop up in the political forum. I thought that guy had been put to death already.
Without a doubt the best rapper, absolutely the most intellectual. His lyrics actually have value to them, and I highly respect his writing as opposed to rhyming slang words about hoes and slangin’ rocks with his new ice. I’m a big fan of him as the messages he sends are well construed and expressed clearly through his lyrics.
Check out “The cause of death”, “Harlem Streets” and “Industrial revolution”
Immortal Technique is the man.

Uhh… I don’t think you know much rap man. It’s not mostly about hoes and bling and shit, that’s just the recent pop trend that’s going to die out soon. Political rap started with the Jungle Brothers in the late eighties, got its peak with A Tribe Called Quest and the Native Tongues crew, and kind of died out after that. Calling Immortal Technique the best rapper crosses the boundary of opinion.
He is good dan, marxist and anti-colony style.
Have you heard of the coup? they are awesome. And, i love tribe also though i feel much of the native tongues is more esoteric ‘good vibes’. I grew up on native tongues and wu tang
I love the feel-good vibes! It’s what hip-hop started as. I appreciate efforts like Blackalicious and J-5, but I like the older guys more.
Political rap is great as well, but I honestly don’t like ANY of the recent stuff. Especially Immortal Technique. I’m damn liberal, and I HATE Bush, but conspiracy theories don’t sit well with me.

Sadly not yet. Philly PD still has fundraisers for Officer Faulkner’s family every so often though. It’s a joke that this guy posted some link to ANYTHING coming from that piece of shit. Spare me the “not a fair trial” bullshit too.
Understand the facts of the crime scene: Mumia laying there still at the scene with a bullet from the cops gun in his ass, the cop laying there with a bullet from Mumia’s registered gun in his body etc etc. At least two seperate witnesses right there who testified at trial. Mumia’s relative (brother I think) was originally pulled over by the cop and it went downhill from there.
Just another angry dickhead with a gun who shot a cop.
They need to pick a new hero. Mumia is a joke.
