True dedication to the scientific method!
They’d probably sell twice as much marketing it that way.
This is my favorite log lately - lots of fun!

Thanks @BigTaurus for taking your time to not only share your initial thoughts, but to keep us updated with your Igniter experience. Well written and detailed!
My Igniter arrived late Friday afternoon, and while I haven’t had the opportunity to use it prior to training yet, I have a couple scoops under my belt so far.
The first was just an excitement scoop that I mixed up prior to some socializing Friday evening. I felt damn good. As BigTaurus mentioned, the mental clarity was even better than Brian Candy, which really is saying something. My mood was most definitely elevated.
The bigger test was prior to my hockey game yesterday. But first a quick backstory: My team from the previous two seasons folded, and while I’m still playing in the top division in this league, I’m now on a team of that is entirely young college players that I’ve never played with before - and I’m 40. This division also keeps getting better and better with each passing season. So admittedly, I was a little nervous going into our first game yesterday.
Enter Igniter. I took one scoop prior to the game, and I sipped my usual Surge during. But holy crap. I can’t remember the last time I was that locked in. As the old saying goes, the puck looked like a beachball to me. I was tracking every shot so unbelievably well. One of my defenseman said between periods that I was playing like the Vezina trophy winner (award for best goalie). We won, and it was a fantastic start to the season.
I realize that what I’ve used Igniter for is probably not what most of us will use it for regularly, but I really think it can be a huge advantage in situations outside of the gym where focus, clarity, and mood are priorities.

This.
ANY physical activity or performance event where you desire to be better - Igniter & Surge is just another level of mental & physical performance enhancement. Crossfitters are gonna love this stuff. I hope pro athletes get wind of Igniter. That’s so awesome to hear how well it worked for you, performance and confidence-wise. Sounds like Connor Hellebuyck better start looking over his shoulder.

This is what I was hoping that other Igniter users would experience. I believe Igniter would benefit anyone wanting a general “pick me up”, engaging socially with others from the standpoint of just wanting to feel sharper all the way to calming social anxiety, wanting to be sharper for a college exam, replacing your $7 unhealthy coffee drink, taking it at lunch of any job to prevent the afternoon crash, mild depression, coping with another season of Taylor Swift & the Kelce Bro’s being obnoxiously plastered over every fucking NFL event - a lot of nootropics promise these benefits, I think Igniter could deliver better than any of them.
I train predominantly female clients. Most of them refuse to use Surge because of the 8 grams of cane sugar in each serving. So far I’ve had three female clients try one scoop of Igniter before their training sessions.
They were floored. They’ve never experienced that level of mental & physical performance enhancement. I believe that females in particular will really be impressed with the 30 calorie, “clean” ingredient profile of Igniter. I know they’re going to love the strength pop it produces. I’m hoping to read some female reviews of Igniter here soon.
@Dani_Shugart, have you tried it yet?
YES! I’m loving it for competitive shooting and also just getting focused on daily tasks. In the gym it’s been giving me pretty big arm pumps, and as cool as that is, the mental aspect is my favorite part.
Seconded. I’m so stoked to hear you and your clients are loving it! Sounds like you’re an awesome trainer.
I wish I could be sure it would get here before poker night Friday. I could use the caffeine in the evening, the focus for sure, and I have crippling social anxiety.

That’s just bad-ass right there. Colonel, line 1, some Chris guy going on about a new product to create female super soldiers…

Love it! Pumpin’ the guns to shoot the guns. The level of awesomeness in this post is literally added to every scoop of Igniter. I’m sharing this with all my ladies, thanks for the feedback Dani!

Increased gambling winnings - yet another potential igniter benefit added to the list. Hope it shows up soon, really curious to hear if it helps with your anxiety.
Thanks for making my day!
I’m not naturally super vascular, but this was my forearm after my first single-scoop of Igniter. Funny thing was, I’d only trained chest and back, no direct arm or forearm work yet. Maybe not that impressive for many, but that’s an out-of-the-ordinary pump for 54-year old me. And with just a single scoop.
My favorite benefit of Igniter though is how it helps me work. Good mood + rapid cognitive workflow. I’d take it for the brain and productivity benefits alone, but the pump is fun, and beneficial.

Not impressive my ass. That kind of pump with no direct arm work or chemical assistance is incredible.

When you can actually “feel” a supplement doing something positive for you - that’s special. We all know that Flameout, Superfood, Beta Glucan, etc. are beneficial for our health and performance - but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we “feel” anything when we take them. When you can take one scoop of Igniter and actually feel it working - mentally and physically - that’s the stuff that gets people excited about taking it and excited about their training. Great to hear the positive effects Igniter provides you out of the gym - very cool!
This is a very good point. Honestly, it makes Igniter an “easy sell” – you’ll feel it physically, see the results halfway through a workout, and also experience it mentally.
Other highly beneficial supps are harder to “feel.” What does it feel like to avoid cardiovascular disease and be less likely to get cancer? What does it feel like to avoid cognitive decline? It doesn’t feel like anything. Only the negative effects of inflammation, nutritional deficiencies, etc. are felt.
Some shady supplement makers have used the “feel” thing unethically. I remember when ephedrine was legal and protein powder makers were slipping it into their shakes. That way the customer could “feel the protein working.” Shady, shady, shady. They did the same thing with creatine, even slipping it into products and not claiming it on the label. They just wanted the customer to experience the initial water-weight gain and assume it was rapid muscle growth.
Igniter is great though because the customer feels it AND it helps with long-term goals from better workouts, bigger pumps, performance improvements, etc. This might become Biotest’s biggest seller honestly.
I’m on my second container of Igniter and count me as a big fan. Noticeable and strong without jitters. I tried 2 scoops and too much for me - I felt some tingles I wasn’t comfortable with. 1 scoop is great. I’ve tried ECA stack back in the day and pretty much all Biotest products and liked them, and this is as good as any past ones. I’m 60 and so try not to go too hard on any stimulant supp at this point. I’d like to be leaner (a little less fat in the belly), but otherwise I’m good with where I’m at (6’, 230"#) and just looking for incremental improvement.
I have started training BJJ and I feel it has been good with this activity also. I have been mixing 1 scoop Igniter and half scoop of Surge pre-workout in 20 ounces water and finish that prior to workout. I don’t drink anything during workouts, so that is not an option for me. I could be wrong, but it seems that 1 scoop Igniter and half Surge equal about the ingredients of one Surge scoop with the added benefits of Igniter. Also, I’m trying to be cost conscious and it stretches my Surge dollars. My wife saw my lifetime Biotest spend and was really shocked that we could have bought a car with that money. ![]()
I like this combo very much and notice better workouts and think I look better in mirror at about same weight. Feel very good. FYI, I have used a scoop of Igniter later in day as a boost separate from workout just to feel better mood and get more work done. So, I also like the “social” use of it like I used to do with Spike products (my favorite was the old pill) and Brain Candy.
Great review! I like what I read here because my need are different from most of us now. I am not training a lot these months because I am waiting for surgery and have to work around my issue BUT, I am a dad to a 1.5 years old and in a month, we will have a second child. I also started a new job a month ago that needs me to be focus, have a lot of social interactions, learn a lot, ask a lot of questions, listen a lot, analyze everything and put up recommendations for improvement, I have coaching and training to give to management, reporting, etc.
I had a similar job in the past and I progressed really well during that job and part of that was because I was using Z-12 at the time and Brain Candy. Brain Candy made my job in those days so much easier. I was looking for something similar and never found anything. According to what you are saying, Igniter could provide me with similar results?
Also, has anyone ordered if from Canada? I was a great consumer of Biotest before 2022 but now the cost of shipping, import is just crazy.
“I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened…”
Since Surge is out of stock…i am gonna give Igniter a try…since i drink coffee, I will probably only use 1 scoop
An excellent choice ![]()
Looking forward to reading about your experience with Igniter!
I’m curious. For those that have used Igniter - even at one scoop - have you used pre-workouts in the past?
Yes, as I’m quite sure most others have.
