As I understand it. natural LH and FSH is shutdown while on TRT.
HCG simulates LH which stimulates testosterone production from the interstitial cells of the testes (Leydig cells). FSH stimulates testicular growth and enhances the production of an androgen-binding protein by the Sertoli cells, which are a component of the testicular tubule necessary for sustaining the maturing sperm cell.
So HCG might get your natural T going it does nothing for sperm production. That takes syn-FSH.
TRT and making babies man that is one steep hill to climb. Best of luck. Oh Defy sells syn FSH
HCG is used concurrently with TRT to maintain or increase sperm production and/or to maintain testicular size. Anyone considering TRT and trying to conceive should take hCG with the testosterone.
Right, as I mentioned, thatās one reason. If using hCG to maintain testicular size, would it be fair to say you are using it solely for cosmetic reasons? Not that there is anything wrong with that.
It feels weird when your testes change size or shrink I would imagine so that is one reason I use. Also I thought it was common knowledge that use of HCG while on TRT helped some men remain fertile to some extent. So Iām doing it to possibly help me make some babies if I ever get to that point down the line. Would prob have to stop TRT for a bit though.
I know hMG has been around for a long time, Iām just not aware of how prevalent it is. The guys with fertility issues from AAS use were able to conceive with hCG treatment. Do you know anyone who went the hMG route for fertility treatments? I wonder if they used hCG concurrently?
I used it twice, for six weeks each time, over the past two years just out of curiosity. The testes do plump up quickly. Used it as PCT back in the day.
By the way, I know guys who were low testosterone/low sperm count and unable to conceive. They were able to do so with 100mg/wk testosterone and 250-300IU hCG 3x/wk. If you stay on hCG you should be good.
