Or it’s like 1 maybe 2 eggs at most or worse yet… whites
Egg whites make up a LOT of my diet. I don’t find them worse at all: just different.
I discard many whites… like 3 to 1 yolk to white
I would save them. They freeze well.
Honestly… my appetite isn’t always high enough, so I go for caloric density via higher fat and add Liver Tabs and Mass Aminos
You can drink egg whites. Good to mix protein shakes too.
I used to but gave me bubbles even when mixed with yolks and beef… im doing a lot of steak, eggs, and experimenting with peri workout carbs
Orange juice too!
There are . . . so many things wrong with these egg comments.
I threatened to submit an article about eggs and now I might actually do it.
Is this for home use? If so, what length do you have? Because I’m seeing 4’ and 5’ along with 6’ and 7’ and space is limited for me. It’s time for me to add a barbell, and the selection is dizzying.
My wife likes the bella bar from rogue. It’s 6 feet and weighs 30-ish pounds.
It’s not, they have them at my gym. And they’re Bella bars just like @Brant_Drake mentioned. They are so much easier to maneuver! If you get one, you will love it!
Every conference I attend promises breakfast will be served. Doughnuts, Danish, bagels, croissants, orange juice, coffee. I disdain that. It cannot be to difficult to get the hotel staff to scramble some eggs, make shredded cheese available, salsa or Tabasco, and a slice or two of sourdough. We would all stay focused longer. Oh, and some tomato juice.
Don’t get me started on hotel kitchens and hotel chefs. They buy as much premade stuff they can to save on cost to hire cheap labor and worry more about liability issues and it’s fucking boring to work in.
Even the eggs you want come prepared in a bag.
Maybe I was wrong in saying Western. The guy is vegan, which do what you want but he brought it into his political game. Bashing the eggs sausage bacon potatoes type of eating.
It’s a climate change pandering agenda.
He might be worth discussing in the Politics and World Issues portion of T-Nation. Definitely sounds fascinating
Must restrain self from making stupid comment
Just because he spills his seed alone is no reason for restraint.
It is also not difficult to put bacon or smoked salmon on a plate. But as long as no one squawks, the conference people and hotel would rather make more money than fret about their minimal standards. And too many people get excited by donuts, even when they aren’t warm Krispy Kremes.
More serious question.
Does anyone here use, or recommend, any of the following implements:
- farmers walk handles (vs. trap bar)
- handle for Meadows rows (vs. the bar)
- handle for Viking press (vs. just the bar)
- wrist roller (vs. spin bar in rack weighted with plates on one side and band-suspended kettlebell on other side)
By which I mean, would having the implement make the exercise better, allow more weight, or have more benefit (vs. not using the fancy-schmamcy gadget).
I’ve done both of these.
I’m not the expert on farmers walks/ handles, so take with a grain of salt, but these are almost a different movement from the trap bar… especially if there is a turn involved in your walk. You really have to manage the swing of the handles in a way you don’t with the bar.
The meadows row handle is super cheap on Amazon, so it was an easy thing to play with. I actually find it least useful on the Meadows row: I have to take it off to change weight, which takes .25 seconds so is obviously devastating, and it makes me have to sit up higher to get a stretch, which I don’t really like. I do like it on the one-arm BB row: I get a better contraction. I would not call this attachment a “must” by any stretch, but it could provide you some minor additional amusement for $15.
