In the sense of what you and Bolt alluded to earlier, Push…real Constitutional discussion and the role of the Federal Government in our Lives.
I really wish that I was old enough to have gotten a REAL sense of the Constitutional discussions generated by Civil Rights/Racial Integration Legislation (which I imagine was explosive and divisive, while at the same time pointing many to the power and meaning of the Constitution).
While I don’t think that a 2nd Obama Term will generate that level of discussion and change; It will cause many average folks to ponder the meaning of the Constitution in ways that they otherwise wouldn’t have.
Say what you may about the President; he can stir up peoples passions, both positive and negative.

For sure there are racists that hate Obama solely on the color of his skin, however all criticism isn’t based on his color. I am for small gov, he isn’t. That is the basis for my criticism.

I’ve gotten into some pretty interesting discussions about this…but in the end, most…and I emphasize MOST Supreme Court Justices end up NOT being at any “extreme”.
“Conservative”, “Liberal” and “Swing Vote” (in a very broad sense)…that is mostly defined by their interpretation (by there briefs and/or arguments) of the Constitution.
Also; some justices (like Souter) tend to not fit their “label”.
(Lower Court Judges are another thing entirely).

It will help his legacy (at least with the left) of changing social issues (abortion, gay marriage) if cases get brought up under those circumstances. Otherwise, I think that whoever gets elected will do about the same stuff, claim they are going to change Washington and give tax cuts to this class and that class and in the end it will be pretty much the same. #apathy, lackofefficacy
