If Blago 'OUTS' Obama...

This guy must have a lot of inside information on Obama and all the inner workings of Illinois politics. So the questions then are (1) what is the info? (2) will the libs and black people who put Obama in there care in the least?

They didn’t care about Wright, Ayers, Dohrn, Rezko, or fixing an election so his competitors got kicked off the ballot.

I suspect they won’t care at all and will continue to worship their Messiah, which says a lot about the state of this country.

If Baloneyvich does know anything, he’ll keep his mouth shut in the hopes that if he is convicted, Obama might pardon him.

I long for the good old days when we in this state could have ran him out on a rail, then tarred and feathered him.

I read that Blago was going to offer the Senate seat to Oprah.

I doubt Blago’s consciousness extends that much beyond himself. Even if it did, I doubt his intelligence would support the mental acrobatics required to leverage the information properly.

The Lt. Gov. said prior to the current debacle he’s only shared two sentences with Blago in the previous 18 mo. So either Quinn, who would take his place, is out of touch or Blago is.

Either way, I hope they leave his name up on the Tollways so we can all get a good laugh.

He said as much and this is what makes me think the guy is N.V.T.S., nuts. It’s known (not necessarily to us) who was ‘in the running’, and to have all the ‘legitimate’ candidates and supposedly put Oprah at the top of the list and then scrap all that and go with Burris has got to be a joke.

It’s like his PR firm got him on the talk show circuit and gave him a list of words and names to say to make people like him.

You mean politicians usually mean what they say…?

I’m more confused than ever, now.

Do you honestly think that anything Blago says will stick to Obama? Chances are anything negative will reported only on blogs and the Drudge Report. Nah. The press will not put their pom-poms down anytime soon. Not in the next four years. Not in the next eight. Not when they abolish term-limits and/or Obama ascends to a custom made ‘world leader’ position.

He’s here to stay. I know I’m supposed to thank God for that…but…I just can’t seem to do it. I’m sure someone will slip me some Kool-Aid soon, though.

They may not mean what they say, but there’s at least some method and thought behind the oratory.

This really seems like him just shouting ‘Cheesecake, Puppies, Oprah, baby chicks’ at the problem.

I don’t know how involved Obama was with him but it does seem that Emmanuel certainly had some dealings with Blago.

Don’t forget Ghandi, Jimmy Stewart and MLK!

Seriously, even if this guy knows all of Obama’s dirty laundry, the more he speaks the less believble he is.

No. He has nothing on him, nothing more than any other fucked up politician has on any other politician.

Keep whining, but nothing’s changing. The guy’s the president, and you’re fucked.

So what’s next? A big post on how he’s too tall to be President? Or that because he has a cigarette once in a while he should impeach him?

Seriously HH, what bullshit is next?

this is hilarious… if Obama gets trashed so hard for doing NOTHING wrong this place must have been apoplectic at the crimes of GWB. Somehow I doubt it was…

Why am I ‘fucked’? Isn’t Obama supposed to be president of all the people? How does that make me ‘fucked’?

My guess is, if I follow your reasoning, that since my wife and I are very well off (mostly her), that we’ll be forced to pay more taxes. I actually don’t mind that since Biden convinced me that it’s the patriotic thing to do.

Now a question: if Blago cuts some sort of deal and BHO is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be unbelievably corrupt, would you care at all?

Of course I would. But people like you are hoping and praying for the news to come out so you can take your tin foil hats off and go back to worshiping the Rush Limbaugh altar.

I’m sorry- it’s not going to happen. A degree of corruption is to be expected- it’s seen in all politicians everywhere, and it’s the nature of human relations. The varying degrees of that determine how bad it really is.

But if it came out that Obama did seriously unethical things, yes, I would care quite a bit.

Lalalalala…

How much corruption would you find unacceptable? What’s the dividing line? There has to be one so you are capable of making judgments. Give some examples, just so I understand your position.

What corruption are you speaking of? The Blago has made no such insinuations. And if he did why would any body think he was trying to do anything but save his own ass.

Irish is a highly educated lib. I want him to provide a yardstick of sorts so that we know what’s acceptable wrt ethics and lib candidates.

If Obama took an $80,000 bribe (was filmed by the FBI doing so) and the money was found in his freezer, is that right or wrong? If Obama plagarizes a speech from some British politician, say, Neal Kinnock, should he get a pass?

I am curious and want to learn.

I am pretty sure that Blago would “out” Obama in a half-second if there was anything there that would allow him to save his own ass.

Besides their nothing to out. His abysmal record is thin and public.

As soon as a politician expresses admiration for Winston Churchill or quotes Kipling’s “If”, you can be certain he or she is a lying no-good bastard.

Blagojevich ticks both boxes.
