Get something with passenger-side-mounted machine guns. That way when you’re shooting them the other guys won’t know you’re the guy pulling the trigger and will waste all their ammo firing at the wrong side of the car. Once they’re out of bullets, you can safely pully beside them, show them how silly they’ve been and then swoop in front to release your oil slick and send them spinning off the side of the road.

Don’t get a used camaro or mustang. Usually the original owner and anyone who owns it after that buys it because it’s fast. They proceed to beat the shit out of the car, racing all over the place and before you know it the engine is a peice of shit. I’ve seen it happen on more than a couple cars. Just my opinion.
Also, I agree with the majority here. Don’t waste your money on some new wheels just yet.
I just remembered something. I know this is going to sound girly, but if you take a miata, put a LS1 engine and T-56 transmission in it. It runs 11.8’s at the track. Which is as fast as a 2007 Z06 Corvette.
Cost? 11 grand, depending on the shape of the engine and miata.
A lot of people use the same setup and use rx-7’s instead. Same concept, I don’t know the times at the track, but they’re quick cars.

Buy a small truck, like an s10, with a 6 cyl in it, that way its relativly cheap on gas, has decent power, and if the motor ever blows you can throw in a LSx and blow the doors off everyone. Plus you can haul stuff with a truck, which is really handy. Also there is a ton of aftermarket stuff for s10s.

I think the days of “riced out” cars being in fashion are coming to an end now that The Fast and Furious days are behind us, and most people of that generation have clocked Need For Speed Underground with the sickest bodykit, spinners, decals, paint, subwoofers and other upgrades around.
