The “Blender Bottle”, which is the one with the steel ball in it, has no gasket. Threads on the lid are deep. No leaks, no lid popping off if you tighten it too much. Doesn’t hold a stink like other bottles do either.

I have to disagree. Mine does leak when I shake it and it holds a stink like no other. Granted, it is better than all the other bottles I’ve used, but it still sucks.
Best one I’ve ever used. No stupid gasket that leaks, it’s easy to use and works great.

You know, I ordered 2 of those because they were cheap and the dipshits I ordered from didn’t send the tops with them, so I have 2 shakers, no lids…Genius.
The bodybuilding.com ones are pretty nice, within the last few months they picked up a new design and (at least the batch I got) they seal pretty well.
It seals easily, doesn’t leak, it’s easy to fill, it’s pretty big (32oz), and it’s cheap.
It comes with the little wire screen thing too for breaking up clumps, but I never even bother with it. I second Bauer97’s comment, learn how to shake harder.

I don’t understand what the hell people are attempting to mix in their protein shakes that needs a wire-whisk to effectively dissolve? I think people need to learn how to shake harder.
nalgene bottles are for dorks, those things are for outdoors hippies or kids who clip them to book bags… not cool, plus you probably pick up estrogens from that very hard plastic, based on the people who I see using them the estrogen thing seems true but thats just anecdotal
the blender bottle is the way to go in my opinion, I have a few of them and they work, they even mix casein well.
Here’s a NOVEL idea. Instead of using one of those cheap-ass plastic shaker bottles, why don’t you reuse a 24 ounce glass juice bottle? It shakes up the contents better and you don’t have to worry about that shitty plastic leaking into your drink (admittedly, since you’re not putting hot drinks into it there is less chance of this happening) and it’s free and it’s easier to clean. True, that you have to not place it high up where it could fall and break. Other than that, it’s your best choice.

That actually works, Nate?
So, the fins at the bottom and inside of the lid do not move, and merely create a turbulence when you shake the bottle?
I’m still digging those steel balls. (come on, that’s too easy. put in some effort…)
For real.
I have 4-5 of them now. Just hold the top (just in case you shake too hard and it pops off from the pressure - yes, that has happened to me) and shake that mofo up.
I’d probably order a few. I’m going to be making an order soon, and it would be nice if I didn’t have to go to GNC to pick up a shaker to mix everything I get in it.
While there isn’t a lot to be improved on, it would make Biotest one step closer to 1-stop-shopping.
