The problem is that you’re using politics to refute science. Use science to refute it. Otherwise, you’re just replacing one biased opinion with another, in this case yours.
If they’re using politics to bend the scientific narrative, use science to prove they’ve done so, instead of just resorting to your own politics instead. All you’re really saying is that they’re not using the right politics (no pun intended) to interpret the data.

Antarctic sea ice hits 35 year record high

Since there has been a cooling trend for the 15 or so years, why are scientists baffled by this? Do they just completely ignore this fact since it doesn’t fit the narrative?

I can make it fit the narrative without even trying. You only need the temp to be below freezing to have ice. So, if global temperature increases but the antarctic temp just stays below freezing, you will still have ice forming. Additionally, with warmer temperatures we have more moisture entering the atmosphere. It cycles down to the south pole and we get an expanding polar cap.
I’m not saying I believe this but it seems a plausible explanation if someone needs to come up with one.[/quote]
Sure, sounds plausible but climate zealots have been warning that warming temps would reduce the arctic ice cap. I wish they would make up their mind. Since that didn’t happen, I now have read the wind has caused the increase. There’s always a reason the man-made climate catastrophe doesn’t happen as predicted. You would think they would include these factors before making their dire predictions.

Arctic is totally different. The worlds air flow cycles to the south pole (Antarctic) drops straight down and fans out. Due to this and global warming, the Antarctic ice cap will continue to build up while the Arctic ice cap disappears. Contrary to popular belief, this will cause the sea level around the world to drop dramatically because ice in the Arctic is a push relative to sea levels but the Antarctic ice cap really does effect sea levels. Anyway, the sea level is not what we have to worry about, we have much more serious concerns to deal with. The continued build up of the southern ice cap will cause the Earth to wobble off it’s axis and at minimum will reek havoc with the worlds weather patterns and bring forth another mass extinction event and that’s if we get off lightly. The Earth could easily spin out of it’s orbit and go crashing into the asteroid belt. This is the real reason Elon Musk wants to colonize Mars. He knows the Earth is doomed and he desperately wants to save humanity.
If you are not sure if you should believe what I just wrote, know that I am a scientist. Really.
