I Threw My Second Chance at Life Away Because I Went Bowling

What have you tried with your diet?

My partner has had arthritis since she was 5 years old, it’s her immune system attacking her joints. To such an extent she needed a complete elbow replacement.

She was on methyltrexate and that kept her inflammation reduced but still so bad her joints were getting worse.

She’d been a vegetarian for 25 years eating dairy and eggs, then we both decided to change to a whole foods vegan diet.

She stopped the methyltrexate immediately and after 3 months free of dairy and eggs had her bloods done for inflammation.

Her inflammatory markers were a tiny fraction of what they were 3 months before, they were negligible.

That was 4 years ago and she’s still off all drugs and runs, cycles, does high intensity circuit training and lifts weights.

Give it a go for 3 months and get blood tests. The worst that can happen is you get great skin from all the plant foods!

Our neighbour has fucked up joints and is an omnivore. He can quote every study that says a vegan diet is bad for you, but he won’t risk trying something new.

Try something new!

Your whole post starting with the OP sounds like a hilarious joke.

30k, and 65k to treat some “all over” OA? Give me a break.

A gym membership is like 30 bucks. If you took yourself to a pool and started swimming i’m sure you’d lose weight, heal joints, and stop being so pathetic.

How does the therapy you received differ from that being performed by Regenexx? I know 3 people who have had stem cells injected into their joints with good success (though not for OA).

Nvm, I see you covered this.

Great post!
