My medical team did but not formally, I have a marketing background so reasonably comfortable with the language etc
I know this comes off as mean, dickish, I don’t mean it that way. But there are many errors in verb tense and grammar.
It probably won’t matter with the vast majority of your target customers.
Best, hope you kill it.
No worries I’ll review the site again I’m pretty much cycling through improving aspect of the business but by bit based on capacity and resource. Site hasn’t been top of the list. Most people are linked in to an optimized landing page for booking that is not part of the core site map (by intent) so conversion on that page is my biggest concern vs traffic from home page & on
That makes sense.
I’m a word nerd so take it with a grain of salt.
Quick update, hit 200 sign ups yesterday. We are 4 months in so avg of 50 new clients a month is going well.
Product range is still pretty solid:
90% - test cypionate injections
5% - pellet
5% - weight loss (Semaglutide or tirzepatide)
??? - misc stuff like vitamin shots
I’ve had a good chunk of guys start Sermorelin too (at least 10 of them). We flag to them that it’s a slow burn and takes a while to really kick. One thing we do that is very well received is pre-drawing the syringes. Very few people want to be stood at their fridge drawing out insulin needle full of growth hormone peptide nightly, so the pre-draw is a great customer experience thing.
I’m adding BPC-157 to the offer next week, which I have had a few guys ask after. Also going to be starting therapeutic blood draws in a few weeks too as we have had asks after that too, I’m hiring someone who has strong expertise in that area
Also, we have been getting some phenomenal reviews, have a whole bunch of 5 star reviews and also it’s been very rewarding to see the positive impact that we are having on our clients. My staff are great and we have refined the weekly onsite injection process down to like 3 mins in and out through a few process streamlining activities. It’s a huge difference to the local competitors who are using an insurance fluffing business model. You end up spending 15-25 mins every week just for a shot because so many ancillary tasks get added to bill insurance
Just read your story. Very inspiring man, congrats on getting your business off of the ground. I had a moment to review the website as well. Very nice.
I’ve been exploring the franchise model in this area (Gameday, etc) and it seems antiquated. If I may ask, what is your primary driver of marketing and client acquisition? Lead sources, SEO, etc?
Most of the franchises are recommending the purchase of leads. That being said, it seems extremely expensive and un-qualified. Any feedback is appreciated.
Cheers.
Thanks! I use multiple tracks for marketing. Early on was a lot of funneling into Meta ads, and that is expensive but does get results as long as your campaigns are set up well. I use a full self-service booking model primarily for my leads and then we follow up with them to cut down on no shows. (think calendarly or similar)
Gameday & franchises seem to be going for lead gen through forms. I suspect this is to present high lead acquisition numbers and put the onus on the franchisee to convert what are often un-qualified/poor quality leads (and then, when the franchisees are struggling, it gives the franchisor an out to claim its the franchisee’s fault they’re not delivering on converting the leads).
I use google ads (though I had to build a stand-alone website for that bc. listing peptides on my site (we offer Sermorelin + BPC-157), blacklisted my main site from google ads. That stand-alone site actually performs better as far as landing page conversions go so that’s a good thing in the end.
I have also done geo-retargeting campaign too focusing on specific locations near me to try and draw away from competitors.
I’m not going to get into the in-person / other activities but i’ve done several events around my area with mixed success too. It’s a lot of leg work, but you do get clients from it.
There’s no way around it though, the acquisition side is expensive and you have to develop thick skin. You’ll get no shows and tire kickers, and really, they’re just costing you money instead of bringing any prospective new business. The QUALITY of lead makes a difference too, we get some clients that are great all around, and others that seem like recurring headaches either due to physical health issues or income instability. You have to take the good with the bad a bit when growing but the poor quality will naturally churn itself out too over time.
Just found this thread. Ironically, I recall seeing your ads on social media. I was at a competitor to get locked in on protocol, then switched to Defy for cost. Essentially, I only get test from them, I buy everything else. BPC is very appealing to me, as I always have lagging injuries from years of baseball and now BJJ.
Man… I didn’t know the dark side (deca) could be legal and therapeutic…
I have backed off from Deca for the time being, the margin is low and it has a higher risk profile.
I’ve heard decent things about Defy! Our model at ALPHA is very much based on guiding people through the hormonal changes and providing them with tools that can help them along the way to get the most out of it. We also optimize vs just getting into the ‘normal range’ which most places don’t do. Some guys don’t need any of the guidance or really care for it, but some of our clients absolutely love it.
We do InBody scans on everyone regularly and when I’m around guys will often come up and ask me to give them exercise tips.
This was a bit of a rub for me at clinic. Didn’t make sense to stop natural production and begin injections if I’d only have a normal level. I’m on 160 week now, and clock in at top of range for both TT and FT. I feel absolutely great. Defy is great, but their process sucks for ordering.
That’s good, i do 200 a week, everyone is different tho. 160 seems a tad low with your height/size but if that dose gets you to optimum, perfect! Highest dose we have a guy on is 280, but his bloodwork supports that dose and it’s where it works for him. Lowest is probably 140.
It’s so interesting how different some of us are in our response to use. There’s a guy I help with programs at my gym. He is on 250mg a week and dials in a little over 1000 total T, while I use 200mg a week and dial in over 1200 at peak. And we’re close to the same size. I really hope as time goes on the medical community continues to learn about what factors play in this and make it easier in the future for guys to dial in faster. So much we still don’t know. I’m really glad we have places like this to share experiences and offer ideas to each other.
I started at 140 and levels were lower than before TRT. Jump up to 160 and I’m at 1182 for TT. I’m prescribed 180 now, but just take 160 as that got me to high range.
Just a guess but he may be getting stuff through UGL, which all seem to do 250mg/ml and guys will pin 1ml weekly as the standard dose. Efficacy may be a bit less than pharma grade that you’ll get through legitimate sources? EVERYONE that comes to us that was doing UGL pins 250mg bc it’s 1ml a week for them through the UGL sources.
Providers will go in 20mg increments when dosing (not always but usually), and the pharma suppliers stick to 200mg/ml on Test C from everyone I’ve seen. It’s a PITA to do a .05ml increment on a measurement on a 200mg/ml vial, and that’s what you get by doing 10mg increments outside of the 20mg jumps that are standard.
Wow I’d love to have Alpha where I live Internationally. Just got to read to your biz adventure and knowing it is going so good. Well done!
The only thing I would add to your webpage and ads is mentioning the quality of the T and gear you are administering. I would pay a premium to know the gear I’m getting is as pure and high quality as can be. Pharmacy grade. If you get your gear 3rd party tested for quality, that would be a plus that you can bring more revenues in for.
Just my two cents…
Thanks for the feedback! We use high quality compounding partners and recently swapped to one that uses MIGLYOL® 812N as the carrier oil which is one of the better carrier oils out there. I like the idea of adding some third party labs partner testing I’ll look into that, thank you!
Business wise things are going really well. We are growing fast and I am focusing a good chunk of my time on good scalability challenges and building processes to allow myself to get out of the equation a lot more of the time so my staff can run and I can focus energies on preparing for location #2. We just added IV Drips a couple of days ago and we now do onsite Therapeutic blood letting which is cool, guys are really liking that, most of them don’t want to go to Carter Bloodcare bc “it’s ghetto” (their words not mine)
It’s great to know business is going so well and expanding on products and services offered. Be ware of going way too much out of your initial and core business.
Having so much quality gear is awesome. Tout your horn more on that front.
Keep up the good work and I hope you open a second and more locations soon!
Agree on that for sure. IV drips are a really easy extension as we already do vitamin shots so it’s just a small expansion on that front and some basic equipment.
The therapeutics are more of a business preservation measure than anything because a lot of guys get blood thickening with TRT, and we will ask them to go donate and some just don’t and procrastinate… offering in-house removes the excuse and also lets us safely continue treatment
