I have no idea who Dave Otunga is, but Jeezus H., if you’re gonna’ hold a bench press contest, shouldn’t everybody agree on a set of freaking ground rules beforehand regarding what counts as a rep and what doesn’t?? Ronnie’s doing half reps (the bottom half of the rep) and Dave isn’t bringing the bar all the way to his chest . . . .
Why not just shoot darts or something at that rate?

They should have a contest to see who can take a bigger shit.

So benching 315 for 15 “reps” isnt impressive because he stopped an inch short of touching? Its not like hes placing at a PL meet or anything benching like that, so why whine about it?
Man I just think it’s cool that massive guys are making it into reality tv shows! ahahah
The only thing I love about New York is the thought of holding her and her mother’s heads underwater til they stop struggling.
That show is one of the most vile things I’ve ever seen.

Exactly.
I didn’t say it wasn’t impressive. All I was saying was that he and Ronnie were almost doing two completely different exercises (none of which would qualify as a quality bench press), so how can anyone compare the two in a competition format?
It’s an irrelevant undertaking.

I watched the show every now and then didn’t mind the tatas, sure as hell didn’t think Punk was that strong. He looks bigger then average but not Huge, to be able to pop off an easy 15 reps with 315.
It does make me wonder if someone was playing camera tricks though, considering you had Ronnie struggling with 275 for 8, and him doing 315 for 15.
It’s not too good for bodybuilding or strength to have the biggest guy on the show being called punk though? lol plus he was a fruity.
I think the comments on youtube were far more entertaining than the video itself. The asinine arguments people get into baffles me.
nothing beats Youtube comments

It was obviously a camera trick, if you watch Ronnies videos he does way more weight then 275 for 8.

“I Love Pelvic Inflammatory Disorder”
A guy I know was on the first one.
The stories that come out of that shit are awfully funny…
