Earlier today for my post workout meal I had a shitload of sausages and veggies. It was stupendous
Hey, all I care about is mass. Hook me up with the cake, son.
I ate so clean today… and then a girl I’m seeing made this Peanut-Butter bar thing… PB, Crushed Graham crackers, a lb of sugar, melted butter… lord knows what else!.. How could I not eat at least half the tray?! It would have been totally rude not to!-lol
Then I came home at drank a protein shake before bed ![]()

The cake part might be a little tricky, but I think one could pull off the frosting. Here’s a typical frosting recipe:
Creamy butter frosting recipe
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pound (3 1/2 cups) sifted confectioners sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons milk
Now, a bodybuilder-ized version:
1/3 cup butter (could split that into 1/2 butter and 1/2 butter substitute, if you wanted to save on fat calories)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups Splenda and several scoops Vanilla protein powder
3 to 4 tablespoons milk
I have NO idea how that would taste, but it’s a simplified start.

Good call actually that sounds like it would come out pretty close to the original! just wondering if it would be better to use a non flavoured protein or the vanila?

The flavor of the protein powder would simply provide the flavor of the icing. If you wanted chocolate frosting, just use chocolate protein powder, strawberry for strawberry, etc etc.
There are plenty of ways to add ‘sweetness’ to a recipe without using sugar. It’s replacing the texture and taste that true dietary fat (i.e. butter, oil, etc.) provides that we haven’t yet perfected.
Then again, if you’re only concerned with carbs, and not calories, there’s not really any need to limit the dietary fat.
Once I’m off this God-forsaken diet, I might just give my little haphazard frosting recipe a try.
When Designer Protein hit real big back in the mid 90’s, they had a recipe book. I laughed at the idea, but once I bought a container of the powder, it just tasted horrible, so I decided to see what I could use it for instead. They had this lemon cheesecake recipe. I wish I still had it, it was amazing! I’d have a slice of cheesecake and glad of milk for breakfast and feel good about it! -lol
Funny thing bout last night,… As I was taking the subway home, I was thinking how maybe I could somehow mix Metabolic Drive into the PB Bar recipe… use Splenda instead of sugar,… maybe find some sugar free (whole wheat?) graham crackers… Lord, I’ve lost my friggin mind!
