Ghosts. They are spirits… That are everywhere… But we can’t see them?
We live in a world that is chemical. A spirit, a ghost would have to be non chemical or a chemical we have not yet discovered. As it is a ghost is supposed to be our spirit. Our spirit being our thought process which is actually our brain.
A simple way to prove them as non-existant is say alcohol. You drink it down and your consciousness is altered. Now if a spirit was real alcohol would do nothing to this spirit-ghost consciousness.

I think that there is a ghost in our shop. I’ve caught glances of and have repeatedly seen someone in a certain section of it a bunch of times, and thought that one guy was in several hours early one day. Lo and behold, he comes walking in and punches his card, usual time.
It’s usually when I look up from my work or glance back to ask someone something, and just for a few seconds. It mimics the same motions of someone doing inventory and writing on a clipboard. Always at about the same time in the morning too.
I was hoping i wasn’t the only one with experiences. I wonder why we see stuff out of our peripheral vision? That usually makes me thing the mind is playing tricks…

What about sound and light? Both are decidedly non-chemical (being energy) but still exhibit profound effects on our daily lives.

I lived in a 113 year old house that was haunted. It really weirded me out when I was approached by a girl that grew up in the house and told me all the same things that my roommates and I had seen or heard.
I used to live alone in an apartment where weird shit happened all the time.
For one, the closet door would never stay shut even though it was latched. Oftentimes I would come home from work and find the light on in the same closet even though I would never turn it on. That stuff can be written off pretty easily, right?
However, this is where the weird shit comes in, I have never talked in my sleep before (or since) I moved in there, but one night my gf woke me up and said it sounded like I was trying to scream. This was because I saw two ghosts in my dream opening and shutting the bedroom door and I was trying to yell to them to stop and for some reason, I was screaming out loud. To complicate things, I used to have regular dreams that I would see people in the apartment (for some reason they were only in black and white) and would also see the apartment when it was just a slab with wood laying everywhere (wtf, right?).
My gf worked nights at the time so she would sleep there from every once in a while. One time I asked her if she noticed anything unusual. She told me that she would feel like someone was following her around and sometimes standing right behind her.
I had a few friends get freaked out in the middle of the night because they thought someone was trying to talk to them.
I never believed in ghosts, but some shit freaks you out.
Any really vivid, and honest story I’ve heard from people I know and trust have all ONLY been from people who have tried some sort of hallucinogen drug at some point in their lives, and one who had an accident and trauma to his head.
Even if it’s been decades since the person used the drugs, I’ve never heard it directly from anyone else so convincingly.
And think of the billions, maybe trillions of people who have been alive and died…ever.
Even if a tiny percentage of them stayed back for “unfinished business”, wouldn’t we be completely crowded with them?
And if someone could see them, how are they not seeing a huge cluster-fuck of people walking all over eachother from all different time periods?
I worked at a law firm that had been renovated from an old hotel where people said several murders had happened. One night when I was there alone, a book from the top shelf of a very tall bookcase fell off as I walked by. Perhaps it had not been pushed in all the way by the last person who used it, but what caused it to fall at that moment? When I mentioned this to a colleague, she said that the place was haunted. One night someone found a single red rose in the middle of the main hallway. There was no explanation for how the rose got there.

I am pretty darn sure I have ghosts in my home. I really don’t believe in ghosts and think most of what people think are ghosts is actually the mind playing tricks or just coincidences.
Ok the first thing that happens to me which I think is weird is the garage door getting locked from the inside, so when i go to open the garage this very loud banging noise occurs (because the lock has been enabled). So I pull the metal slider out of the locked position and then open the door fine. I suppose the latch could trigger itself, but seems pretty impossible.
The other night I heard this voice coming from the bathroom next to my room, well I was half asleep and yelled something back…Then I hear this loud popping noise coming toward me into the bedroom from the bathroom and right on top of me. Then the popping noise persists and sounds like it’s coming from under my pillow, i proceeded to try to ignore it while slamming my head down on the pillow in an effort to get it to stop. It really freaked me out!
A couple years ago I actually had a impath come into my house, she said there was a women ghost hiding in the bathroom and a bad man ghost trying to get her from outside of the bathroom. There are actually scratch marks on top of the door and on the doors under the bathroom sink. I really doubt any ghosts did this, but it is pretty strange.
A little background on the house. It was built by this German man and women, it’s the most unique looking house in my town. She was very paranoid…there are no windows facing the front, and you have to go through a courtyard to get to the front door, the main bedroom entrance is a door which is disguised as a book shelf. This place is really fortified. When I bought it, it had been vacant for two years because the owners died and they had no next of kin.
So every time I do something to the house in the order of home improvement, weird stuff starts happening. i would like to just sell it and move, but the market sucks!
Crazy huh?

I don’t think your house is haunted but it sounds cool as shit. Please post pics.
