Btw, if people are more prosperous they of course get LESS children. Thats why its a must that eventually the rest of the world closes in on the western world living standard.

You don’t know that. It’s pure speculation. What is certain, is that if Iraq had a nuclear bomb, the US wouldn’t have invaded it. And if Iran had nukes, Iraq wouldn’t have attacked them.
As far as 3rd world shithole countries and Islamist terrorists go, it’s pretty hard to beat Pakistan. Lo and behold, they actually have a bomb, and they never used it.
Ubiquitous nuclear power is inevitable. Sooner rather than later, the barrel of oil will became too expensive and every other state will want its own reactor. Iran is just being pro-active about it.

Eventually, population levels off. However, the difficulty is avenues of investment in those countries — without a developed market economy, investment is primarily in things: land, cattle, and human labour (children). So until the country develops, the population will boom. That’s what the enviro/socialists don’t want to happen.

I heard on the news lately that, in the last 6 months alone, China had 5 million more drivers. Think of the impact of that. They are going to be similar to The USA in consumption fairly soon, only 4 times bigger in terms of people. We are truly witnessing an event of almost Biblical proportions, where more than half of the people in the world WON’T BE POOR.
To the enviro/socialists, that is a mega-disaster. The demand for consumables is skyrocketing. So, they will try to stop it from happening. The question is: can they?
