Actually two, but I have seen more bodybuilders and powerlifters for things besides cancer though. I’d like to think that we have set those folks up with measures that would prevent them from coming back with cancer.
If I have the time I will dig up a study that correlates to this argument but my claim is more anecdotal. But really does it not make sense to you? If those same bodybuilders used digestive enzymes with their meals and took care to detoxify the colon once a year then would they be in that risk category? Doubt it. But that is not the generality that we are making here. In general guy wants to get bigger he eats shitloads of protein, mostly meat and dairy. Hopefully veggies with every meal(as Lowery and others advocate) but not likely unfortunately. This excessive food consumption overloads the kidneys, liver and/or intestines which sets the spiral for toxic burden. If you don’t think that is the case then you haven’t read the countless posts on here with guys bragging about how noxious their protein farts are! That kind of thing is just a warning sign.
I’m definitely not against bulking up and getting hyooge if that is your goal. There are ways to do it though that are safer for your long term health. But again you don’t have to believe any of this. You can always tell people like me to put on our tin foil hats and watch out for UFO’s or whatever is the response when people don’t want to think. The reality is that most people eat toxic garbage, put toxic chemicals all over their body, take no consideration for their internal organ health and then when something like cancer comes along they say well its in my genes–my family has a history of it. There is something to this but the gene thing is a misunderstood cop out IMO.
