oh man this is hard. I’m only 15 so all this having a house, wife, kids etc etc. don’t mean much to me now. BUT Xen Nova’s first post would sound great to have (but i can wait for that) and i’ll make sure I do my best effort to get there. LOL this is really short term…it’s 10:29pm right now and I REALLY can’t wait to just train tommorrow lol
…For a BWx1.5 Snatch, a 100-pound DB Turkish Get-up, and bench my bodyweight for my age in reps (that last one has been a goal since before I started lifting, for no apparent reason).
On the non-exercise side…to own a house in the 'burbs, own a half-dojo/half-training studio, and finally get a basset hound.
I can’t wait for each day. I own my own home, I own a commercial building that houses my dojo, another buisness and two apartments. I have 4 kids and an incredible wife (that trains 5 days a week and is still in GREAT shape). And I’m stronger then I’ve ever been.
I guess if there is one thing that would be nice is I’d like to see all of my abs again instead of just 4. Other then that life is outstanding. And I owe it all to the Lord.
That doesn’t seem like a T-dog breed… I’d expect more of a … shepherd or dobie or rottie.
But a bassett hound? Oh wait, must be your softer side. :D[/quote]
Hell yeah it is. Muscle growth and strength is contingent upon rest. When you think “afternoon naps”, what better dog comes to mind?
And those ears are just so freaking cute. Did you know they have to wear special headgear called “snoods” to hold them back so they don’t get into their food? (Okay, cute and cuddly side de-activated)

My “posterior chain” is sore from this morning’s deadlifts, I’ve just had my afternoon protein, I am nearly finished with this weeks projects, and very soon I will be wrestling with my kids. Tomorrow morning I will be doing Tabata Sprints.

Till I’m a grown ass man and I have a house, an understanding wife, and a 3 car garage that only has my gym equipment in it.
And I have a GHR…that’ll be the day.

At which point you’ll say, “I wish I was a young man again with no responsibilities and the ability to get some strange and not mow the lawn if I don’t feel like it.”
Slow down Grasshopper. Live for the now and don’t be in such a hurry!
…until I move back to Texas, open up my own practice and buy a 2007-2008 Yamaha R1 and chrome out every damn thing on it so that random women can can see up their own dresses on it as they ride on the back.
…also until I diet down so that next Spring Break I don’t have to wear clothes.
