It is a noun
Is it bigger than a breadbasket? (obviously the OBJECT represented by the noun, not the word)
Yes.
Is it something most people have in their home?
No, not really.
Is it a compound word?

And I just got my answer there.
Bowlikinetics (boh lih kih neh’ tiks) - n. The act of trying to control a released bowling ball by twisting one’s body in the direction one wants it to go.
ITS A FAKE WORD!!! No wonder our linguistics friends here couldn’t come up with it![/quote]
It’s not bowlikinetics, lol.
That was one example… it’s any time you do that, trying to control an objects trajectory after you’ve released it and can’t.
I was talking to my mother, and apparently I told her the word (of course she can’t remember it either, story of my life…) and she remembers that it started with “ergo.”
I think I’m close.
