I am new to this!

I am a 38 year old male. I spend 4-6 days in the gym doing weight training and have a healthy diet. I am looking to take things to the next level by starting some cycles. I am Hoping for some assistance in what are the best cycles for bulking and cutting, while I am just starting out. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Read through some (a lot) of the other first cycle posts in the forum to get a feeling for the best way to approach this question. The other posts may answer all of your questions, but if not, they will show you the best way to ask for help.

Just starting out cycling or strength training? Years training consistently?

Height / weight?

What’s your squat, bench, and dead?

What’s your current goal?

I’m a 38-yr-old male, 6’2”, ~250 lb at ~23% body fat. My lifts: bench 315, deadlift 405, squat 315 (knee injury limits squatting). I want to lower my BMI and be in the mid teens. I have been advised by many to bulk before doing a cut but I’m not sure. I have hit a plateau and haven’t been able to put on much more mass.

You have been advised poorly. You need to get a to a healthy mid teen BF level before partaking in steroids. One, you need to learn nutrition to maintain and new physique changes, but two steroids don’t cut you up that’s the work + diet. If you ran gear now you’d just be a temporarily bigger and likely fatter version of yourself.

Everything @blshaw said is right on the money. You are in no condition to use steroids.

Thanks for the feedback. That is all I needed. I will make sure I focus more on the nutrition and work before I consider adding anything else in. Thanks for the advice and guidance.
