Hussein + Bin Laden

There’s no need for this thread anyway, Jeff. Saddam and Bin Laden are the same person. Dubya told me so. That’s why we went after Iraq, when Al Qaeda attacked.

“Fair and balanced” is clearly a misnomer. What FOX News means by the statement is they bring a conservative slant on cable news, which is largely biased towards the left. So in effect, the network balances cable news. But I, as a moderate conservative, wouldn’t call Fox News “fair and balanced” in its own right. What mass media outlet truly IS “fair and balanced”? I can’t think of any…

Aren’t you the guy who posted “critique my physique fully clothed” posing G style with your buddies? You have been posting what a month?

We have gone over the “biased” media from both angles ad nauseum fifty times already you’re not educating anyone!

Yeah, that was me “G-style” with my friends. What of it? I went over “ad-nauseum” that I was purposely being a dope in those pics for shits and giggles and that “showing off” (which is how I apparently came off) wasn’t my intention. Maybe if I explain this 49 more times, it’ll be considered ad nauseum by you, Mr. Redundant?

BTW, thanks for the FYI on the whole media bias lecture. Maybe you should tell your buddy “sumosomethingorother” who brought it up again too…

That’s ‘MISTER sumosomethingorother’ to you, boy.

Damn, Jerffy is at it again. He’s out searching for scraps that will finally, FINALLY, show that Bush was indeed right all along and the rest of the world was duped.

How many times are you going to dredge up some extremely biased piece of shit and claim in proves your point. You are an idiot. You are a dolt. You have no ability to look at the material you see and judge it’s value.

You, Jerffy, are an ass clown. Shall I expect an onslaught from your alter ego, Cream?

Gee, I never looked at it that way.

I sure am convinced now.

Ignorance kills.

I guess you’d rather get your info from CNN? If you’re going to acknowledge media bias, be consistent about it.

CNN?

I blame CNN for the state of the MSM today. The reason we do not get any real news on network television (cable news is a joke so I will not go there) is because of CNN.

I do not get my news from television. The news is not reported on television.

I scan google, yahoo, reuters, etc. to find the news headlines of the day.

For a laugh I peek at Drudge too.

Nice try.

Cheers!

This is not your record for amount of personal attacks in one post, but I think it might be close given that the post was quite short.

Ok, my friends.

I’m full of shit. FOX, Hayes, The Weekly Standard is full of shit.

Have I got it about right?

Now, prove it.

If you can’t debate factually, I’ll be forced to accept everything in the posts that I referenced. Further, I’ll have to totally reject all of the democratic “Hear no evil, see no evil” talking points. That is my default setting!!!

Prove me wrong!!!

Yes, Vroom, the holiest of holies, apostle Zeb, has nailed you for what you are… a big meanie who is always being a big meanie to people.

Never mind that any hostile attack by one of his holy bretheran is totally overlooked by him, but you are looked at with the precision of the hubble telescope anytime you sigh on the boards.

But, as you said earlier they are not biased in anyway!

I read the link you referred to. The DOD was actually saying that it hadn’t “confirmed” the report.

Further,

“The items listed in the classified annex were either raw reports or products of the CIA, the National Security Agency or, in one case, the Defense Intelligence Agency. The provision of the classified annex to the Intelligence Committee was cleared by other agencies and done with the permission of the intelligence community. The selection of the documents was made by DoD to respond to the committee?s question. The classified annex was not an analysis of the substantive issue of the relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda, and it drew no conclusions.”

It “drew no conclusions.” “Raw data.” Hayes is drawing the conclusions. It was in effect the raw data without the analysis.

That MOST certainly is NOT justification for making your statement regarding “Republican talking points.”

Further, look at the date of this DoD press release. Now look at the date of the article above.

Do we live in a static world? You do know of course that new data comes to light.

I’m asking for analysis.

Don’t eat headlines without digesting them.

You initiate a defense for your fellow liberal by insulting me…(shaking head) you guys just don’t get it?

While none of us are perfect, no one (not even you) can compare to the consistency of how vroom goes after anyone who disagrees with him with personal insults.

That is a fact, check the record!

Checked

Confirmed

It’s good to be back and in the mix. Glad to see we didn’t get all touchy and feely whilst I was off.

The unfortunate thing here is, I agree with vroom’s contention that this is nothing more than a piece of propaganda with little to no factual backing. Too bad he chose such a condescending and classless way to verbalize his opinion.

Jeff, you are most definately a world class cheerleader for the administration, and often times you back this up with some quality research and referenced material. This, however; is not one of them.

Bzzzz bzzzz bzzzzz… through the magic of Internet translation:

I’m not going to listen to you, my mind is made up, I’m right…

What’s the point Jerffy, it’s not like you actually pay attention when people post facts anyway. It’s not like you can even tell the different between facts and opinion when you find some piece of shit text that supports your viewpoint.

You wouldn’t recognize a fact if it bit you in the ass, clown.

Zeb, you are proving yourself a complete tool. Is that an attack? I’m not sure. Is it true? What is a complete tool? Can one say anything negative without it being a personal attack? Do you differentiate between the nature of the personal attack?

Zeb, you are deluded.
Zeb, you are an ass clown.
Zeb, you are making an ass of yourself.

How do those statements differ? Which one is more offensive? How many words are in this post and how many personal attacks have I made. Have I made any at all if they are merely illustrative statements made to support the discussion of this subject?

Wow, I never knew the world was so complex.

Anyhow, I have to agree with Elk. The useless scrutinity you apply to me and my posts is similar to the resolving power of the Hubble telescope. I feel honored.

Oh look, its more of the PC police stepping up to make sure I don’t offend anyone.

I don’t know guys, I hear a lot of you right wing wingnuts complaining about political correctness, but obviously you are all for it if you are the ones being insulted.

Surprise, surprise, smells like hypocrisy.

Anyway, if Jerffy ever decides to express himself in a manner deserving of something other than derision and laughter, maybe I’ll do something other than snicker at his loony antics.

So, make up your mind. Are you for the PC movement or aren’t you?

There’s a clear distinction between throwing insults and being “un-PC”. The former is simply being disrespectful and immature. You should be able to tell the difference.

It’s not about “political Correctness” as much as it is about civil (mature) debate.

We can usually tell when there is a frustrated teen on this forum as he name calls constantly. He states things on the Internet he wouldn’t say to someones face. This is NOT the picture I have of you, yet you resort to childish name calling probably as much as any of the teens who post. I simply wonder why?

While I think over all you are a bright individual you do nothing but harm to any cause that you represent because of the over abundance of immature name calling which seems to take over almost every thread that you become involved with.

You think phrases like: “ass clown” actually help represent your opinion? Think again!

I think you can attack someones position without attacking them. I also think you know the difference, but since it’s the Internet you want to take advantage of that. Does attacking someone on the Internet somehow give you gratification? I am seriously wondering…

I always consider your points when they are not laced with childish personal attacks. In fact, I think you had some very good posts regarding exactly what we need to do about terrorism on another thread. I don’t mind telling you I was very impressed with your point of view and how well you presented it.

I know it’s frustrating when many of us disagree with you. However, try to remember that everyone does not see the world the way you do. If someone defends the Bush administration that does not necessarily make them a bad person. It simply means that we disagree.

Please consider what I have stated.

Take care,

Zeb

I love when Zebster resorts to the “lets lull him with your really a great guy and and we know it’s so frustrating for you” while at the same time using “We’ll very subtly compare him to a teenager who is making internet tough guy remarks” in the hope it makes him question himself and his position.

I like others sometimes get very abrasive, difference is I don’t see you climbing on your pulpit when one of your “like minded buddies” starts ripping loose with the hostile cussing and name calling… Oh, but let Vroom let out one “Ass Clown” and good ol Zeb is putting on the preaching robes!

Seems like you selectively choose to preach Zeb when it fits your agenda.

You guys can be pretty phony at times!

Vroom, ProfX, 100meteres, others have attempted countless times to “debate in courtesy” and start getting the snide, sarcastic, hostile, remarks, when they respond back in kind, you start crying that they are so meansey weansey and offend your poor lil hurt sensibilities.

Try being real for once.

Civil? What? This is T-Nation isn’t it? Why am I the only person who has to be civil in the political forums? What a crock…

The PC police, they live inside of my head.
The PC police, they come to me in my bed.
The PC police, they’re coming to arrest me, oh no.

You know that talk is cheap, and those rumors ain’t nice.
And when I fall asleep I don?t think I?ll survive the night, the night.

'cause they’re waiting for me.
They’re looking for me.
Ev’ry single night they’re driving me insane.
Those men inside my brain.

The PC police, they live inside of my head.
(live inside of my head.)
The PC police, they come to me in my bed.
(come to me in my bed.)
The PC police, they’re coming to arrest me, oh no.

Well, I can’t tell lies, 'cause they’re listening to me.
And when I fall asleep, bet they’re spying on me tonight, tonight.

'cause they’re waiting for me.
They’re looking for me.
Ev?ry single night they’re driving me insane.
Those men inside my brain.

I try to sleep, they’re wide awake, they won’t leave me alone.
They don’t get paid to take vacations, or let me alone.
They spy on me, I try to hide, they won’t let me alone.
They persecute me, they’re the judge and jury all in one.

'cause they’re waiting for me.
They’re looking for me.
Ev’ry single night they’re driving me insane.
Those men inside my brain.

The PC police, they live inside of my head.

You know what dude? What’s worse than throwing out personal insults at the drop of a hat is making blanket statements implying that a person’s political orientation determines their level of sincerity.

Guess what? I had my character, personality and even sense of style trounced on with name calling and the like over one stupid photo - one that you still made an issue of. Despite all that, I haven’t resorted to name-calling or online fisticuffs. Yet when you find someone disagreeing with your point of view, you’ve gotta pull out the “assclown” card? Give me a break.

Speak your piece. If you’re mentally strong enough to rise above the petty, immature BS, your voice will be heard a lot more clearly by all sides. This doesn’t just go for “left wing” guys on this board either, it’s directed at anybody that resorts to throwing out personal insults in uncalled for situations like a legitimate idealogical debate.

Peace.
