LOL…

Nerds rule!

Couldn’t help but notice that just about everyone who ripped on Hugh’s physique don’t have any pictures posted of their own. I guess I just have to assume you all look so much better now and will of course look much better when you’re nearly 40. Shut up and lift and be proud there are famous actors out there who understand the iron game.

During the reboot of the X franchise in the 70’s they Clermont was told to kill off one of the new X-Men he had a choose between Wolverine and Thunderbird but chose the latter because Wolverine like Clermont was Canadian. Also in during the original Pheonix saga when trapped in spcae with Marvel Girl the sentinals claimed he wasn’t a mutant, the story was going to go he was a mutated wolverine created by the High Evolutionary

Well said

Im one of the only ones sticking up for Hugh.
Saying he looks like a marathon runner is laughable, some people really have no idea.

But u get people on this site claiming 400 pound bench presses and 600 pound deadlifts but still dont come close to Hugh’s physique.

But not the only one. I thought he was pretty damn good in X2 and X3.

Principal shooting for Wolverine starts this month. Here’s a recent pic of him. Seems to be leaning out nicely.

YOu’re Confusing him with onslaught or silver surfer. Tho Zombie Hulk did do a number on Wolvie in the Marvel Zombies…

Hugh Jackman: 40 Is the New .. DAMN!
Principal photography for Wolverine began last January and wrapped up back in May. It’s in post-production.

It would be pretty crazy for a movie like this to only be starting principal photography just six months before it’s release date.

Haha, you tell’em Vader. I like Hugh but he could never put on enough muscle. Wolverine is 5’6" 240lb…wait thats Dex. If only he had vitiligo(j/k).

Have you ever noticed how you never see superheroes working out? What’s with that?
:(
That’s not entirely true, but it is pretty sporadic. Examples I can think of include:

 • Nightwing constantly practicing gymnastics and/or trapeze arts (he teaches a children’s trapeze class on the weekends). I also remember him performing one arm handstand pushups (out of boredom) and going a couple rounds with a heavy bag in back-to-back issues.

 • Daredevil’s also the acrobat/boxer type, but I haven’t seen him working out since Frank Miller’s second run ended wayyy back in 1986.

 • Batman is shown performing some heavy lifting from time to time, particularly bench pressing and the clean & jerk (he’s gone as heavy as 675 with the c&j). In “Batman: Year One,” his training also included punching through mini brick walls, kicking down trees, and one arm pushups.

 • The current Robin (Tim Drake) did some speed bag work once upon a time, but I can’t remember what comic that was.

There are probably other examples, but I can’t think of 'em right now.

The only example I can remember was in The Savage Dragon where he was benching something like 4000lbs for hundreds of reps (might have been thousands). He seemed bored with it cause it was too easy.

You see Captain America (steve rogers) sparring a few times in New Avengers pre-Civil-War, and again in Ultimate Captain America #1.

Wolverine got ripped in half and scattered through the woods by hulk in Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine #4. The series has been on hold since the start of Secret Invasion because of the artist, Yu, doing so much primary art for Secret Invasion.

They showed the X-MEN in the danger room. Colossus was doing presses, while Nightcrawler was doing acrobatics.

The Hulk ripped Wolverine apart in issue one of Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk.

Hulk threw Wolverine’s legs to the top of a nearby mountain and Wolverine had to drag himself to the summit in order to retrieve them.
This was about the time that the writers gave him an insane healing factor.

Ummmm. (speechless)

Ugly Face...
Imagine what type of person makes comments on the TMZ forums?

I mean, who is that into celebrities?

And how does Batman Clean and Jerk 675 lbs?

“That’s right Tim because NO ONE get’s a great body by hitting the gym and working out, right? Idiot. He looks damn fine, and there’s no way that’s from steroids. I feel the sudden urge to lick that man. LOL!”

“Sounds like someone is jealous??? This man looks sooo tasty!!”

Eww, I’m disgusted.

i hate to be an even bigger nerd but ultimate wolverine is in the ultimate universe which is not in regular continuity. With regular wolverine hulk could not tear him in half. This is proven becuase it is the main difference between sabretooth’s adamantium and wolverines. Unlike Wolverine Sabretooth’s connective tissue and joints have no adamantium so his limbs can be torn off but not wolverines.

he should change his name to Huge Jackman

or better yet Huge Jackedman
