So out of curiosity, what other guys in the movies have you noticed this with?
I guess you were talking about the line that runs underneath the pec muscle. In the picture of jackman, on the right, it isn’t perfectly symmetrical, but that doesn’t mean he got implants.

When arms move, the pecs stretch and/or contract. His arms are in different positions, so of course they’re going to look different in that picture. The more developed the pecs, the more noticeable it is.

And he’s running.
And the angle.
And he didn’t know a candid photo would be taken and presented to the T-Nation the symmetry police.

Let’s me fair, if you really wanted an actor to accurately portray Wolverine’s physique as he’s represented in the comics, he’d have to be a 5’ 9", 230 lb ball of solid mass.
I think Jackman does well capturing the personality, but he could use about 15 lbs on the frame to really to Logan justice.
/comicbook guy rant
He’d be 5’ 5" and more like 400lbs(all that adamantium laced to his bones)
Why couldn’t they lace diamond to his bones? It’s harder, and then magneto wouldn’t be able to screw him over.
Good thing to point out about him being 5’5", 400lbs, he’d gain a significant amount of muscle all over from hauling an extra 200lbs of adamantium around all the time.

Clue #1 that the poster isn’t familiar with the human male form outside of Calvin Klein Jean ads.

Hm… Actually, I was also thinking that his chest was very well-developed in comparison to his legs, and, from what I can see, back. I would be very interested in hearing the thoughts of someone more experienced than myself on the topic.

They didn’t think about Magneto. And Adamantium is much much stronger. Second only to Vibranium? i.e. The alloy Captain America’s shield is made from.
As mentioned earlier, the camera angle and pose aren’t any good for determining if any part of his body is out of proportion with the rest.

It jacked up his healing factor for a while after that, too.
That was because the Adamantium was no longer poisoning his system, letting his healing factor run at full capacity.
Aw dammit. My nerd is showing again.
If you remember, for a short period of time after the Adamantium was removed, his healing factor didn’t work at all. He cut himself shaving and had to put his finger on the cut to stop the bleeding.
Once he recovered from the initial shock of having the Adamantium removed, his healing factor recovered and went into overdrive. Didn’t he go feral after that?

Psychological repression of his mutant ability. He then found out about the bone claws and every time they came out - ouchies.
His mutation would drive him into a more “bestial” state if not for the adamantium. His is a unique mutation in that it is ever “improving”. The other mutants have a preset power limit which they never usually tap into fully.
His regeneration is such that even have most of the soft tissue being blown away didn’t kill him. Useful.
"Later, tests and studies jointly conducted by Professor Charles Xavier, Beast, and Heather Hudson show the mutation endowing Wolverine with his powers is an ongoing process. Unlike most mutants, he continues to mutate slowly over the course of his life.
As a result, Wolverine’s powers, particularly his heightened senses and accelerated healing, slowly increase. However, after Wolverine’s skeleton was bonded with adamantium by the Weapon X Program, this mutation was completely halted. The studies also reveal, aside from suppressing his ongoing mutation, the presence of adamantium also slowed his mutant healing factor.
The adamantium laced to his skeleton is treated as a foreign substance by his healing factor, which constantly devotes a great deal of effort attempting to remove the metal, causing him to heal slower from other injuries. After Magneto ripped the adamantium from Wolverine’s skeleton, and his body completely healed from the injuries, the mutation resumed, at a greatly accelerated rate.
The studies show accelerated mutation has increased his powers beyond any other point in his life. It is also revealed during this time that Wolverine’s mutation process will eventually cause him to degenerate physically into a more primitive, bestial state."
To a regular guy, this is an ideal physique. I mean look how the author praises him. Too bad, coz this does not look like the physique of a high-performance athlete. Maybe a marathon runner, but a rabid Wolverine? I’m not impressed.
Now, if he turned his body into Conan The Barbarian, that would be impressive. It would fit his Wolverine more, but too bad coz people will think he’s on roids. Grrr…
