I think this is what stands out the most to someone like Zeek (who I will speak on behalf of and hopefully not be out of bounds). There are no cutting compounds in the steroid world. Period. Some drugs will make you appear drier or grainier, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be used to add muscle. Cutting is about diet, full stop. You use the drugs to retain as much muscle as possible when you’re in a deficit. But if the deficit is short enough (4-6 weeks) then you realistically won’t lose all that much muscle, unless it’s a massive reduction in calories.
Now look, guys who are stepping on stage are in a different realm. They have different needs and as such they have different protocols. But for the average gym rat you should be able to cut up with diet alone. Who cares if your cut cost you a pound of muscle if you also shed 10lbs of fat? On net you’re way ahead. Want that muscle back? You’ll get it on your next bulk.
You need to decide what your goals are. Establish a primary and then a secondary goal, then plan accordingly. You’ll be much more satisfied with the results if you do it that way rather than try to fit a bunch of square pegs into round holes.
