How to Lower HGB and Hematocrit?

So I just got updated labs as I wanted to see how my increase in Anastrazole was effecting my Estradiol.

Going to 3/4 Anastrazole a week brought my E from 76 down to 52. Definitely can feel a difference.

Unfortunately, Cholesterol went up-
Total to 215
Triglycerides 172
HDL 33- low

Question is around HGB, as it moved to 17.7%
Hematocrit to 51.5%

Doc recommends backing down the Test a bit, and donating blood every 12 weeks.

Has anyone had success lowering these 2 areas?
If so, what did you do?

Any other ways to lower this number?

Thanks

Go give blood

Yes, donated blood.

You can get by with donating blood to keep the HCT below 51 until you crash your ferritin. Donating 1 pint will drop your HCT by 2-3 points. It will also drop your ferritin by ~20%
So if you start donating blood you need to add ferritin to your blood tests. Once you’ve crashed reducing your T dose is all there is. Plus you will need to take a iron supplement with a high dose of vit C. which will fix your ferritin in about 6 months but iron supplement also increase HCT so it just sucks. Ask me how I know and how I have spent my last 8 months running 80mg/wk. Only last month my ferritin came back 109 and my doc OK’d 120mg/wk with HCT and ferritin tests in 3 months.
