YES! I got all three in mine! Plus she is not crazy, well not all that much.
I can see the conversations slightly changed from the addiction debate, but to the people against the idea of addiction being genetic and I believe one of those people said “i’m sure if I tried crystal meth i’d of fucked my life up” I actually know a few guys who have taken crack cocaine 1 - 2 times and never touched it again. Me personally i’ve never touched it because I doubt i’d say no the 2nd or 3rd time.
However I think this shows that even with highly addictive drugs people can say no. I also know a guy who’s friend had to go to rehab because of drug addiction, both my friend and this guy hung around in the same social circles with the same people and yet only one of the group became addicted to the really hard drugs(heroin, crack).
I realise strength of will is obviously a factor also, but then again, what determines strength of will. genetics? Just to close i’m not saying it is genetics that determine drug addiction but I believe it’d be silly to rule out that it has to atleast some degree a role in addiction.
