Rinse it out as soon as you use it. Dry it off and put it in the freezer. No smell.
why the freezer?
The harsh cold will cause the plastic to constrict and will force out bad odors - like wringing a sponge.
Actually, it is probably because freezing the bottle in between uses will retard the growth of bacteria - which is what is responsible for the smell (hence the suggestion of diluting bleach and using that to clean the bottle).
It has nothing to do with the quality of protein you use.
10 points for using the word retard and not insulting someone, I’ve never seen that happen before.
I still don’t understand why retard is offensive. Are the mentally handicap actually getting offended by people using the word? Or is it the parents and family of such people.
From what I understand it’s the family and they say that their children aren’t retarded they are mentally handicap so using the word retard is offensive, if that’s the case what do they care if people call eachother retarded, we are not referring to someone with down syndrome, we are referring to the person we are talking to as slow and let’s double check the definition of retarded again:
Retard:
to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede.
So what’s the problem??? Okay my rants over, continue with the thread.

I second this. I wouldn’t call someone with down syndrome a retard, i’d say they had down syndrome. Now, if someone’s a frigging moron, then i will say he’s retarded

My shaker has a small stink to it how do I clean it?
Soap wont get the smell out… and buying a new one is stupid when you can get rid of the smell…
To get rid of the smell put baking powder in it (2 to 4 table spoons), fill with hot water, and let soak over night. The baking soda will penetrate the porous plastic and get rid of the oder…

I’ve tried doing what John said, putting it in the freezer and drying it with cloth beforehand so far so good.
