I’m curious how often people here on TRT get bloodwork done?
Every 3 months?
Every 6 months?
Every year?

Every 6 months. Every 3 months is excessive. I have to eat a lot of food if I work out really hard for one to two hours, otherwise I feel strange mentally.
It is merely part of my yearly physical. Nothing special. But I am 75 years old. So, there’s that.
Every three months and a virtual check-in with a doctor. It’s required to renew the prescription. I’d rather do yearly as part of a physical also. Unless anything starts to feel strange.
6 months
9 mos for me. I’ve been on it a long time now. We’ve spaced labs further apart as t8me progresses
My clinic runs it twice per year. But I get labs as often as needed on my own, depending on what I’m running. I’ve kinda built a database up so I know at certain doses/compounds how things look.
Supposed to be once yearly, however, they skipped 2023. lol. I don’t care. Had it a few times first year while I dialed in. I’ve felt fine for years now, so I don’t care. My PC gets my bloodwork annually too but doesn’t include test or E. So, I know all my other values are fine. The test and E levels I’m not concerned about unless I feel off. Plus, my clinic does call me occasionally and ask how I’m doing. I was told that if I feel that I’m not doing well they will order labs at my request.
In my practice, it is tailored to the individual, but most are every six months after they are established. In talking to doctors at conferences/seminars, it seems I order labs more frequently, which means most others get them yearly.
The patient may participate in the decision making process. Some have been on testosterone for over twenty years and nothing has changed. They would skip blood work all together if they could. Some read the internet a lot and worry about “dialing in.” I’m flexible, but within reason.
urologist orders mine every 6 months
3 months if I am in a growth phase specifically to track A1c and homa-ir along with lipids and thyroid. Otherwise it’s about every 6 months.
I agree with this
