Hi all, second post here, had a lot of helpful information already and very thankful I joined the t-nation forum!
So I’ve got 5000iu of hcg mixed in with 1ml of sodium chloride in a 2ml syringe in my fridge, I’ve checked other posts and opinions are very varied from a week to over a month…
So my question is how long will my hcg actually keep good in these conditions? My fridge is set to the coldest setting its basically just above freezing point. Its already been in there 7 days and i plan to use it over the next 4 weeks…

Standard bacteriostatic water is supposed to keep that stuff okay for up to 30 days. I would assume that the sodium chloride is more potent at killing bacteria so I think you should be okay. HOWEVER if you are continually injecting only a small amount from the same syringe as in all of your injections into your body come out of the same syringe then that is a recipe for an infection.
Look up “back filling” a syringe, get one shot per syringe and freeze those things, that will keep them good for sure. Really next time get a sealed sterile vial and some bacteriostatic water. Mix the kit then put it into the vial and dilute it so that whatever dose you want per injection is diluted into 1/2 or a full ml volume. I can’t imagine trying to take 500ius out of a 5000iu kit that is only 1 or 2 MLS in volume. At 2mls then 500ius is 2/10ths of a ml, easy enough for an insulin syringe but still.

Thanks for the tips, your exactly right! I have 5000iu in 1ml of liquid in a 2ml barrel and it’s an absolute NIGHTMARE to shoot, I will defo grab some vials and bac water for the next time! When you say “freeze those things” do you mean my hcg/bacwater when it all been made up?
I just looked up backfilling on the search function and Im still not sure I fully understand what it actually is, am I right in thinking its filling a larger barrel (2ml) with your chosen liquid (hcg/test…) then freezing this to keep it sterile, then take a smaller needle like an insulin one to draw from the larger sterile pre loaded barrel, injecting with the smaller one, keeping the larger barrel nice and clean and sterile?
I thought everything would still be sterile as I change the needle on the 2ml barrel every time I shoot and always wipe everything down with alcohol wipes, I us a 30guage needle in my stomach which is fine for the hcg, but when it comes to my testosterone shot i have to press as hard as I can (almost snapping plungers) for about 5 mins solid! Need to try a different gauge do you have any recommendations? Thanks for input
