How Long to Go till I Hit 10%?

Haven’t lost muscle. Don’t look any different than I did a month ago. Just more slim on the tummy.

And I don’t think I necessarily “wasted” my time as I exaggerated. I don’t regret doing those strength workouts because I was a strong guy for 160. Benching almost double bodyweight and repping three plates with dips. Felt good brah. But I look like shit and reality hit me that I should switch training style.

your posts have really confused me. I don’t have any idea what you want to look like. Is it the excess fat that you think is the problem? Or do you think it’s that you don’t have enough muscle mass?

If the problem is the former, then dieting down to a sub-10% bf may be the answer for you. I think if you did that, you’d look alright. You’ve got enough muscle to not look bad, at least.

If the problem is the latter, then you probably just need more time. You’re 18. What was your starting point like? I assume you’ve improved quite a bit since you started lifting.

You are mourning. You are not ‘high’ enough. Get rid of the useless time in gym and stick to 30minutes training period in the gym preceded or followed by a fasted cardio session. Eat one big meal a day (see IF) and always psyched yourself up before a session.

You are actually doing good, I like the proportions but did you ever have the ‘feels good’ feeling? I can’t sense your enthusiasm. To be sure, run after your session. End on a good note with everything.

You’re free to eat whatever you want but always remember, one meal a day.

what the fuck is this?

What’s your BF like? Have you ever dieted? Or are you the omomom person. No vulgarities.

From my other replies to the other people. I already know I’m small, I want to cut down to 10% ish and would like to see some abs then immediately bulk up on a nice well set up ppl split. Was initially wondering how long it would take at my stage to see Abs. I feel like I have too much tummy fat to eat in a surplus right now. But other people telling me to stop cutting, my body fat is fine, and and to focus on getting bigger

ok, so what’s, like, your goal physique? Is there an athlete or model that comes to mind you would want to look like in a perfect world?

If Darkcop is who I think he is… then I’m pretty sure he’s on LSD every time he posts.

Improving my physique is a new goal of mine. Only cared about strength for a long time. And in a perfect world? Idk dude.

Thank you dude. I have a pretty good split laid out that I think will give me good results. So what now? 500 cal surplus since I’m too thin?

Please program my bedroom tv to record New England fishing at 6:30, channel 37

I’m not the expert in this regard. I don’t count cals. I eat a lot when I want to pack on mass and eat less when I’d like to lose fat. Sorry dude, the others would be more qualified for a response to nutrition.

Thank you. Definitely not in desperate need, just feel like my tum tum is out of proportion in terms of leanness through out my body. Probably will bulk up now since everyone is telling me I’m too small

Jesus you just ripped on me to shreds. If a well known bodybuilding coach is even telling me to not cut, guess I’m not cutting. Don’t like cutting and yes I know I’m small. But like I said earlier, the tummy looked too fat to consider eating in a surplus. Was planning to diet down to a lower body fat then immediately bulk up. My idea was the more lean I start off as the longer I can eat more. Guess I’m full of shyt since people are telling me I’m wasting my time cutting. Thank you for the input. When you compared my diet to your wife’s, that’s when reality hit me

No problem dude. Thank you for the help

You’d be surprised with what your body does if you push it hard and in the right direction.

Worst case scenario, you looked jacked in a sweat top lol

Don’t view it as a should I or shouldn’t I,… but consider a diffferent approach instead of just an extreme deficit by caloric means. Imagine you created the same net caloric weekly deficit albeit while eating more most days, utilizing a well thought out macro split, and training your ass off (and possibly an interval session or two each week)… the scale won’t go down as quickly but I’d wager that you’d be happier with the end result.
