I’m curious, if I take a .25mg Anastrozole, or whatever dose it is…
How long does it inhibit the conversion of T to E? Hours, days? Let’s assume you take it while on TRT and if you take it without TRT.

Everyone will metabolize anastrozole differently, you should notice something within hours or days. On the first day I notice feeling different within an hour, better but was short lived, later in the day I had pain behind the eyes and became very sleepy, I had trouble keeping my eyes open while driving to work.
This is a sign that you’ve crashed estrogen and it’s not fun on the joints which took weeks for me to recover. This all happened on .125 anastrozole.
When I took the first dose a couple weeks ago, I woke up the following morning with higher libido and stronger erection. Felt better most of the day into day 2. Then that affect diminished. It was definitely the Anastrozole because I hadn’t started the trt yet.
It blocked aromatase which means you were temporarily left with more testosterone. I can assure you that the end result would not be the same if you continued to do that. You need estrogen to have libido. You should feel just as good, if not better, once you start your TRT and raise T.
The half life of anastrozole is 48-50 hours, which is why some who use it dose twice a week. That might explain why you noted a diminished effect after a couple of days. As with testosterone dosing, there are the rare, very rare, few who take it daily.
I used it when I started on TRT and I felt no difference. When I discontinued it, my joints felt better and my lipids improved.
