We have added in a serving of almonds each afternoon. The serving is 14 almonds. I am sure we all know that the serving a day is the amount of a serving for longevity. Chew it up well. There is no reason why anyone of us should avoid the serving a day.

Considered - but no blender.
Almond flour is pretty good but my local health shop is out of it - this used to be very handy for low carb protein pancakes. Occasionally it would come out a little grainy however… I’m considering leaving almond flour to soak overnight next time I give it a go.

I know… I mean:
benmoore wrote: …my stools - defiantly have been more regular
what the hell does that even mean?? Defiantly more regular? Are your stools really acting defiant? Did you tell them to only form 1 or less times per day and they revolted? Is this the Great Stool Uprising of 2010?
Well I was crapping once every 1-2 days… then all of a sudden I was crapping 2-3 times a day with something that resembled chocolate muesli bars.
Analyzing ones poop every once in a while can also provide some very good indicators of ones health… I mean most of us check urine color every once in a while don’t we?

I guess because I was having several servings a day I may have chewed not quite as well as if I had a single, smaller serving. I might consider adding almonds back in - but only once a day in a small quantity alongside a shake and some fish oils.
My friend was suggesting I soak them overnight… something I might also try in future.
You are right - its silly to cut out a food item as healthy as almonds!

Creepy… and disturbing at this point.
I was eating a lot of almonds and noticed the same thing. They make me poop and I have noticed some almond remains in my stool.
I haven’t tried it, but ox bile has been recommended as a supplement to aid in fat digestion.
There might be a problem w/ your digestion if you have this: Steatorrhea - Wikipedia
…Yeah, I suppose it can be helpful. I was just playing on your typo “defiantly” instead of definitely
How about you weigh the amount of almonds you eat and then later sift through your stool and take out all the bits and weigh them, then subtract. You could even re-use the bits that passed through.

14 almonds? That’s all you eat at a time? 1 oz is closer to 30 almonds. I’ve been known to eat 2 ounces of walnuts, 2 ounces of almonds and an ounce of peanuts in a day.
your body adapts to it. Don’t worry about it…

I don’t feel prompted to come on here, talk about my shit, and then wonder if my intake of veggies and grains are a “waste” or if I’m in a caloric deficit because some food happened to come out of me.
This is disgusting and creepy at this point!
I take it you’re not a fan of two girls one cup?
wow… who would have thought that question would go this far.

I almost beat the shit out of the guy who sent me that clip - and it was one of my close friends at the time. I was actually close to driving to his house and throwing down with him.

Well I had to check on myself. Our package says 28 nuts is a serving. I asked ladyfriend where my idea of 14 nuts came from. She had decided that she would divide the 28 into two half servings of 14 nuts for some personal reason of hers. So ok, we are at l oz, ie 28 almonds.

As I said before - just like checking the color of your pee… checking your poop every once in a while can be a useful way to keep an eye on ones health.
Also if you don’t like discussing digestion/bowl movements why are you still in a thread on what is clearly that subject matter, moaning about how everything is gross and icky? ;]

Aye I hoped it would be over in a handful of replies. Seems people really like talking about my excrement!
Also I will totally be trying out the recipes for almonds in todays article!
Lets end the poop discussion here =]
If you pee out pieces of undigested almond then you have something to worry about.
