How Do You Cook YOUR Chicken?

Fried… what, too cliche?

i get my big stewin pot , put a bit of oil in the bottom then fry some onions and red peppers till the onions go a bit glassy .
then i add diced up chicken steak ( about 3 lb) ,garlic chopped , 2 tab spoons of tom puree ,half a cup of apple vinigar.
then add a whole chopped up red cabbage , salt and pepper , a cup of water , then stir it all well and leave it on a low heat for about 45min .
only takes about 10 mins n i have plenty for a few days .
works evan better with pork

Take a whole chicken, sprinkle a bunch of salt and pepper and garlic cloves in it’s cavity, toss it in a roasting pan, pour a few tablespoons of melted butter mixed with a teaspoon or two of dry mustard over the top, sprinkle with salt and pepper and thyme and bake uncovered for about 1 1/2 hours at 350 c (use a meat thermometer for best results) I baste it after an hour a couple of times.

It’s super easy to get tasty, juicy roasted chicken if you keep it simple.

microwave FTW . bung anything in a bowl ( veg’s , meat etc all mixed up )n blitz the sucker for up to 10 mins , you cant go wrong .have you worked out to do cauliflower n broccoli ?

I marinate chicken breasts and cook them on the grill.

I make home made buffalo wings. I start them in a frying pan for a few minutes than finish them in the oven for 30 minutes.

I make chicken marsala sauteed in a pan. Fork tender.

Chicken and rice soup with mostly chicken and rice. More like a stew.

Stir fry chicken and broccoli the soy sauce. I also stir fry chicken breast with peppers, onions and salsa and serve it over rice.

I’ll mix a can of chicken with a can of hormel chili if I’m in a pinch .

Home made chicken parm in the frying pan. I’d never bake it like some people do.

I never bake whole chickens because I can get a tasty rotisserie for $6 at shoprite. Not worth the effort in my opinion.

As you can tell from above, I’m not a big fan of dark meat.

Real men eat their chicken raw. Everyone knows cooking it takes out half the nutrients

but you dont get the best of it unless you eat it while it was still alive
