I’m considering an apartment off of Live Oak Street and Webster, 2BDR for $620 or an apartment off of 230 West Alabama, 1BDR for $750. The first one is a great deal but it’s awfully close to the 3rd ward and the second one is pretty close to a wide range of food and shops. Hmm.

Where on Alabama? If you’re in the Montrose area, do it. There’s a shit ton of stuff to do, and you’re five minutes from midtown, downtown, River Oaks, Upper Kirby, Memorial… pretty much any and everything in the city.

Definitely. It’s an apartment called “The Spur” and its like a block away from Breakfest Klub and Double Trouble. Infact, i’m going to call them about my application after lunch.

I live a 5 minute bicycle ride from there. There’s a 24hr fitness literally 3 blocks from the Breakfast Klub. Also, don’t eat there. Way overpriced, lines that go around the block (no shit) and food ain’t that great. You can findsome crazy deals Iin the area if you look around.

You know what, The gym aspect was what really concerned me. Apparently, LA Fitness only operates on the west side of town and the closes one is a signature facility and I don’t want to upgrade. I was considering the Y in downtown but who knows how much the membership fees are.
I actually was a trainer at the signature LA on Weslayan a few years ago. LA Fitness sucks. 24 is a way better deal. Haven’t been to the downtown Y in probably 10 years, but remember it being cool. Honestly bud, 24 is the best deal for commercial gyms, and they’re everywhere. If you’re set on LA, check the Med Center location on Holcombe. Don’t remember if that’s Sig or not, and it’s a straight shot up Main from where you’re looking.
