Come on people, the squat vid is a fake. I’m sure the woman is strong, but the plates are obvious fakes. The bar doesn’t even bend a LITTLE bit with 315 on it??? She’s probably squatting 135 total with all six plates.
The whole thing is wrong, the way she picks up the plates, puts them on the bar, unracking and racking is funny, the bar and the plates, with NO collars, don’t bend or move and don’t make a sound, and her effort level is exactly the same with 135 as with 315. OBVIOUS FAKE

I call definite fake for several reasons.
First, she picks up the plates and maneuvers them just a bit too easy, even at one point, putting an extra plate on the left side of the bar at a very awkward angle. Next, the plates are not moving or behaving in a manner I’d expect during the squats. No movement whatsoever. No rattle, no roll, no shake.
In addition, at the completion of her last set of 315 with 12 reps, she’s not so much as taking a deep breath. Finally, fake plates are used for BBs all the time during photo shoots and such. Gents, this vid is fake.

A bar bending with 315 on it? That sounds like a cheap bar to me. I don’t ever remember a good Olympic bar bending with just 315 on it in all the time I have been lifting.

Not a pronounced bend, but a standard olympic bar found in any gym will behave a certain way under weight. Are you suggesting the video is not fake?
Or do you miss how she just handles 315 with no apparent stress to her body? Look at her body language! Even if you can manhandle 315 (and I can), your body, the bar, the weights - all behave in a certain manner.
I can’t believe anyone that lifts serious weights can view this video and not recognize the physical quirks.
Nobody is saying the bar should be ready to snap, and it shouldn’t be bent in a static position. But a bar with 315 on it, although not that much weight, should exhibit some slight bend, or spring to it when it’s being unracked, re-racked, at the bottom of a squat, etc. That is why any real metal plates, when used without, and usually even WITH clips, will rattle and roll and bang against each other when they are being lifted.
Bars are made to have some spring in them for better feel while lifting. Only heavy duty powerlifting bars are made to be much stiffer. Beyond just the bar not exhibiting any bend or spring whatsoever, nothing about the video looks real to me. Perhaps you just haven’t seen 315 on a bar that many times???

I didn’t care enough about the video to look past her with the 135. It was obvious from the title some guy with a female bodybuilder fetish posted what videos get him off, so after that I could have cared less.
