I wouldn’t be so disrespectful to suggest fear as a basis.

And here is exactly the PC tripe I was pointing out. Dislike now equals fear. Is that DR. Phil, by the way? So if I find flaming gays irritating, it’s because…I"m afraid. Thank you for making my point, about dumbing down debate. I don’t fear homosexuals. I don’t fear emos. I don’t fear wine coolers. I don’t fear anchovies. I don’t fear the guy doing curls in the squat rack.

Which part of ‘I wouldn’t’ did you not get? No one says you fear anyone. ‘Fear’ is not the appropriate term. As I’ve said that at least three times, I shall stop that now as you seem to be conducting a discussion that I’m not a part of.

I don’t know why you can’t stand certain people or groups - it is normally something in yourself, and only you will have the answer why they bother you so much. I wouldn’t be so disrespectful to suggest fear as a basis.

The implication is pretty damn clear. Polite, but it was clearly implied.
I’m not responsible for what you read into my posts. I’m sorry if you misread my genuine attempt to give a non-committal answer to a question I couldn’t possibly answer. Also, at least I have not called you homophobic in this thread (and I think no one else has either) - so for that analysis I cannot take any responsibility either.
I think your argument is weak and your understanding of the terminology is incorrect - but I can’t make any judgements about your character or mental state based on them. Now Headhunter on the other hand…
It would be foolish of me though if I were to argue with you for about five pages that the -phobic in homophobic doesn’t denote fear, but rather aversion, to just then turn around and use it exactly contrary to what I’ve been trying to explain. I may be dumb, but I’m not that dumb.

My terminology is incorrect, for pointing out the misuse of terminology that is clinically used to describe an irrational fear and anxiety disorder? No, the terminology is being misused to shutdown debate, in the name of PC. “You’re just scared,” is best left on the playground. I’m done.

Ah, xenophobia, the other badly misused word. Like I said, homophobia has about as much meaning as calling someone a vomitsexphobic. a furryphobe, or fecalphiliacophobe. Maybe homosexual males are vaginaphobic?
Yes. They have the same meaning. A strong aversion to _______.

Sorry, I’m done. You’ll have to see me on the next topic. I’ve become “rehashing-this-any-furtherphobic.”
