You obviosly didnt read what the guy said. He said our atheletes are the greates steroid taking athletes in teh world, they fail drug test and create their own event so they can do what substance they want to and the whole world would want to join… Im paraphrasing but you can go back and see for yourself. Im not saying american athletes take drugs, i was simply throwing his own argument back in his face. There was a time when russia and other eastblock countries and america was taking quiet a lot of steroids, but i am not saying the olympic athletes this year for example are on it. Yes, the cost of living is 30% more, but then again your minimum vage is from 5-7 US dollars and ours are aproxomatly 26 US dollars an hour. Do the math, it’s stil cheaper and we get to go where ever the fuck we want in the world and it’s cheap as hell.

I can work at a grocery store and still make more than most americans. 30% doesnt mean shit when you look at the big picture. I’m tired, going to bed.

So, basically the same, but after taxes the American will have a fair bit more.

Oh, and how much does the government take away from you in taxes? Norway’s government is a humongous spender, plus being a welfare state, and not a lot of fiscal, financial or labor freedom. Your unemployment rate isn’t that much better than ours (4.6 vs 5).

But it seems were getting away from the guns/knives/clubs.
In my family’s collection theres a 357, 38, Glock 19, 2 AR-15s, 2 12 gauges, 1911, plus my competition guns including one of the AR 15s.

You say that like it’s a good thing. Minimum wage reflects cost of living. Your cost of living is higher, so that cancels out the higher minimum wage argument. The citizenry of Kuwait receives $60K per year from oil revenues, because the oil is considered to be the ‘peoples oil’.

Sounds great in theory, and sure I’d love to have a piece of the American domestic oil pie. In practice though, it just causes inflation, which drives up the price of everything in Kuwait.

I said we don’t give two shits about the winter Olympics. Which we don’t except for pothead snowboarders. Our best athletes are too busy playing football, basketball, etc., because that’s where the money, fame, and glory is.

America is not a welfare state, as much as it seems people want it to be. And I assume you meant to say “why are we a welfare state” and that is because you can sit on your ass, or sell tickets and (apparently) still have enough to travel to Italy for vacations, while those who actually do work have their money given to lazy people.

Sounds great, because I could just do jack shit and still take vacations to Italy while letting those who are stupid enough to actually try pay my way. Whereas here I am taking all AP classes, plus classes at the local college to try to help me get into some Ivy league school because I messed up the last couple years and my GPA is “only” a 4.1.

But with this trying I’ll (hopefully) be able to be taking vacations to Italy myself, rather than sending the kids who wander the halls, skipping classes to Italy. I’d rather pay for my own insurance then someone else’s.

And I can take a blank map of Europe and draw in the approximate borders for 99% of them, same for most of Africa, all of Asia and all of South and Central America. Now placing all the states would be harder.

We get plenty of geography, but our society is such that kids practically brag about their C’s, D’s and F’s. And apparently such that we would insult a country by showing our ignorance of where it is.

Sorry to whoever it was that said that, but damn, as much as you may try to blow it off as “well I’m smart in other areas” Norway is a fairly sizable country and you could have just left that part out and helped America’s argument here. Oh, and Norway and sweden kinda look like a ballsack, with Sweden hanging lower.
