That’s exactly what I thought it was going to be about; another skinny jeans rant thread. I like this better. The videos made me laugh. If it were about hip-hugger type pants, I’d be on board. I wear them.

Im friends with hipsters. I actually don’t mind them at times but sometimes they act so pretentious and snobby that it annoys the hell out of me. My friend for example,The other day we were behind a coffee shop talking about his girlfriend shaving her legs. He says he hates it because its a “social norm”. He also hates her wearing make up. This is all so ironic because he loves wearing tight cut offs,he loves listening to Teagan & Sara, and hes an art major. Wouldnt all this be a social norm,at the very least,in his niche or group? Its all very hypocritical and stupid. He also hates “being judged” but is quick to call someone else a douche bag and criticize and mock me for lifting weights for a hobby.
That’s a friend?
Eh. I take him for what he is,he takes me for what I am. Look,I know what he is and I accept it. He obviously has his flaws, but hes also loyal and reliable…he also pays for the beer ALL THE TIME. How many friends can you say do that for you? In the end,hes a fucking hipster but hes also a fucking hipster “friend”. Truth be told,Someday,I wish he can accept people even if they arent from the same lifestyle. (Something he says he does but I dont think Ive ever seen a Mexican or Black guy in our drinking circle) Im friends with hipsters, gangsters, strippers, drugdealers, church goers, preps, goths, bros, and all over. Im every bodies friend.
so it’s people trying to be ‘punk rock,’ accept if you pick on them, instead of starting a fight they run away and cry??
I dressed ‘weird’ in high school, but hipster wasn’t a word people would use to describe it.

Hipsters are … kind of dull. I don’t like the music, for the most part. I’m not interested in the guys. I can’t pull off the clothes.
But what girl doesn’t want to look like Zooey Deschanel?
Over-fucking-rated. Seriously. People built her up to be a goddess but I dont see anything other than an above average girl. I hate the way the girl hipsters dress though. its like they try on the least sexiest clothes and wear them in combination.

Is that so?
Btw: I would do unspeakable things to the girl on the keyboard.
