Depending on what your goals are there are a number of professionals who advocate undulating periodization programs. For example, you can do 5x5, 4x10, and 3x15 rep ranges for example. Some advocate you do different rep ranges on different weeks while others advocate for different rep ranges during the same week. As an example, you can do 5x5 squats one workout and 4x10 another workout during the same week. There’s nothing “wrong” with experimenting with different rep ranges as long as it works for you.
