so i got bloodwork done about two months ago and iv been on 200 mg test cyp for 6 weeks now, my results were total t 356 ng/dl shbg was extremely high at 72.5 estadiol 10.8 pg/ml and free test was only 2.7 pg/ml and it says the reference range is 8.7-25.1, im wondering if i should start taking 250 mg per a week instead or just cruise at 500 for the next 6 weeks, i already feel a lot better after being on for 6 weeks itll be exactly 6 weeks in 2 days. i couldnt believe my free test was so low, i devoloped an addiction to kratom and had a blood test done back in june but they didnt test for free t only total and my total t was 525 so it dropped about 160 points in only 5 months. my doctor said my free t was comparable to that of a ten year old, should i up my dose ? i was shocked to see these results because i wasnt really having any low t symptoms , having sex with girlfriend pretty much every day morning wood was always there energy not low but these results truly shocked me. any input or thoughts on this?
TRT is not always about the numbers. 6 weeks is not a long time. The test has just fully saturated a week or so ago. I would give it 2 more months at this dose before thinking about changing anything.
When posting bloods next time you need to post the test result with the ranges. Numbers alone don’t mean much.
I also don;t understand your thinking here about raising the dose. Going from 200-250 is one thing but going from 200 to 500 is now going on cycle. What is your end game here? Maybe a little more context would help.
