High Protein to Reduce SHBG Levels?

Tricky question to ask - so here goes

On Nebido for 4 years - first 2 years absolutely fine - 2nd 2 years - shite - losing hair, putting on weight, losing muscle mass, no libido, no sex drive and erectile dysfunction.

Have multiple blood tests to find out why my trough T levels are sitting in the low 20’s and all tests come back normal.

Have a chance encounter with a professor of Klinefelters and he suggests that my SHBG levels may be too high.

To reduce my SHBG levels I start a regime of 200g protein per day - training or not.

My negative symptoms disappear within 6 weeks - however I am left with another problem - extreme tiredness in the last 3 weeks of my injection (cycle) before my next injection.

Is it possible that the massive increase in protein has depleted the testosterone in my body earlier than normal ?

No your doctor is wrong, you need more testosterone to suppress SHBG. What your doctor has suggested will NOT lower SHBG. We get guys on T-Nation all the time with strong pituitary gland and a liver that overproduces SHBG and the ONLY way to lower it is to increase Free T.

Excess androgens lowers SHBG and is the proper course of action in men with high SHBG, your doctor is faking it and doesn’t understand hormones.

Your Free T is already suboptimal, kill two birds with one stone and increase your levels. If your doctor is not willing to do that, time to find a competent doctor.

I will say lowering your SHBG with Nebido may prove difficult do to the half life of Nebido, you need a surge of androgens to lower SHBG, you need sustanon or enanthate.
