Look, I was kind of bored and thought of stirring the pot with the E2 Mafia for some kicks. It’s complicated. Circulating serum levels of E2 May or may not be a driver with prostate issues. It might be more of an issue with intra prostatic E2 conversion or its metabolites. The irresponsibility comes in by speaking with such certainty about something of which you have no certainty. The goal of this forum should be to give a balanced view. Not a sales pitch.
@dextermorgan perfect example of my point about risking future unknown consequences for current thrills. Yes one can achieve a sky high libido, have sex multiple times a day, and drastically increase their strength. But it isn’t necessarily the goal of everybody here. Some people just want to be healthy and ‘normal’. Others want more which is fine. But The goal of this forum shouldn’t be to upsell different TRT lifestyle goals.
@blizzardtest
Depends on what you define as normal. I would consider sex multiple times a day to be fairly normal (until you get tired of that girl after a while) for men that are in decent shape and have decent hormone levels. TRT doesn’t drastically improve my strength or ability to gain muscle either and I run a decent dose. What TRT does do is allow me to consistently feel like a normal human should. Decent energy, good sex drive, not be fat on a decent diet, etc. For those folks that spend a large amount of time without feeling that way it’s a drastic change and is much more appreciated than someone who was born that way. TRT gives you an edge. If you want a thrill and crazy strength improvements then you need to double that dose and do a cycle.
I’m not the arbiter of anybody’s normal. Nobody on this forum should be. We can share personal experiences. Help decipher some of the lingo for newbs. Then let them figure out what they want out of it.
Yeah, good point, sorry, I’m not Geroge Clooney, but I did see Ocean’s Eleven last month. No way I’d put that name out there on the Internet. Wouldn’t have believed it either if I didn’t see the labs. Patient is another physician, no way he’d do it with a civilian patient. Should have added that. #saturationtheory
Very true, I can say from personal experience that TRT, while very good, is no where close to a AAS cycle.
What’s interesting is once prostate cancer has been established. That’s not such a bad idea for treatment. If you subscribe to the idea that intra prostatic aromatase is the primary driver of cancer growth, and not serum circulating E2 then the goal would be to crush aromatase. You could load up on arimidex or aromasin but that would be a harsh ride. Or you could blast T and take even more E2 hoping for negative feedback and aromatase production shutting down. Enjoying the hormone ride all the way. But that’s if you HAVE prostate cancer. Not if you’re just trying to dial in TRT with a currently healthy prostate.
Yes, that’s the way it was explained.
100% with you @blizzardtest.
It’s hard to discuss the matter with people considering normal having sex everyday multiple times until you get tired of a girl.
The short term approach to life has destroyed many lives, whatever it is “I’ll cheat on my wife just once” or “I’ll do a cycle and I’ll stop”.
An interesting study was presented at this years NCRI cancer conference.
TRT is known to increase IGF levels. Just another reason not to let freeT skyrocket on TRT.
