High Estrogen Levels

Hello, I had posted this before but it seemed to close out prior to me being able to reply in time. In this post, I did include my labs as requested.

Hello, recently started back on trt after taking about 6 months off. Started back taking 200 cypionate .5ml twice per week. Just had some bloodwork done and free testosterone was 435, Total Testosterone was 1451 and estrogen was 82. I do feel exhausted, bloated, etc. In the past, I’ve been on the same dosage and never went about 800 for total testosterone. I have also had high (not this high) estrogen levels before so I took an AI.just wanted to get input on if I should start taking an iMac again and or adjust my testosterone dosage lower. Still feel new to all of this - go easy on me lol.

I can’t figure out how to reply to the most recent thread so adding this hear. It looks like i can not add multiple images at this time.

Right now, my bodyfat is high at 19% (via a DEXA scan). I have always gone through a doctor for testosterone. For years it was my GP who I felt was pretty knowledgeable, etc but his practice moved 4 hours away. I tried local endocrinologist but they seemed very outdated with their approach. I most recently switched to a commonly used (I think) online telehealth company.

Order some retatrutide it’ll help lower your body fat over time 1mg in one shot a week as you drop in BF% it will help control estrogen. Grab an AI like anastrozole 1mg 1/4th of that pill twice a week should bring you down to normal while you are on TRT.

Is your prolactin still that high? Because that’s definitely going to cause you problems, especially with elevated E2 and your bodyfat is very high to be running a cycle with these numbers and issues.

Also to clarify, you are running the exact same weekly dosage as before and your test and free test has gone up that much? I would be questioning whether my source was previously underdosed and/or current source is overdosed or some issue there. I would also recommend with those prolactin issues that you be extremely careful about using 19-nors or anything that causes prolactin elevation unless you want to end up with severe gyno.

And how are you determining your bodyfat? Because the vast majority of people underestimate their bf by quite a lot.

Thank you for the reply. As long as I have had tested (10ish years), my prolactin has always run high. They have done two MRIs in the past to rule out any pituitary tumor. Multiple endocrinologists seem to think it is what it is, etc.

The current dosage has always been what I have taken in the past. My testosterone has never run this high (neither has estrogen). Estrogen has run a little high in the past but I would take a small dosage of AI to address that. I am only taking cypionate so not taking any 19-nors.

For my bodyfat, I have been measuring via a Dexascan.

I almost wondered if my blood test was off and considering having it tested again (?).

Thank you! I have used anastrozole in the past in small dosage and that seemed to help the estrogen levels.

Get your test levels back to high normal and E2 will probably follow.
