High Estrogen Effects (Labs compared to Symptoms)

Thousands and millions and billions? Lol!

Start your own YouTube channel and get these millions on where they demonstrate evidence of high E2 being bad. You’ll be rich! :wink:

@equel we didn’t ban you because you disagree. We banned you because you’re nuts.

@dbossa

Do you have communications with elderly men let’s say over 65 or 70?
Is so, Are they still running a 30 free t?

I really want to know of men over 65 that are on trt and are healthy. I know 1 or 2 from forums. But you say you communicated with thousands so am hoping you have hundreds over 65.

You know. I want to live an old ripe age and I would really like to know this.

Thanks.

@charlie12 short answer is yes.

One thing I can tell you is that it’s the older guys who rave about the benefits way more than the younger guys. The younger guys will be happy with things once optimized but it’s the older guys that are almost brought to tears with the diffenece it has made. This has been told to me by multiple physicians.

Damn, it sure was but at the same time very informative. Damn, I feel way more educated than before I read this.

@grinnin Ok, we assume that high e2 may be issue for you. You are clearly over aromatizer.

But why make things complicated and dont try other options before starting the poison?(arimedex)

The first thing you need to do is start INJECTING EVERY SINGLE DAY. This will reduce e2 and further resolve your symptoms, because they may be from the hormone fluctuations between the peak and trough. Do you think your body is designed to get two giant shots of t in the week?

Second thing you can do is add zinc citrate 2x30mg daily, but in your case they can be 50mg. This reduces estrogen in many people. In me as well so I will reduce it once I stabilize myself.

Third thing - if you are on cypionate, you can replace it with enanthate. Many guys here aromatize less on it, some bodybuilders in the gym I go report the same. However I can show you zero scientific for it, it is a bro-science however that does not mean it is false.

@dextermorgan is absolutely right about waiting six weeks when changing protocol. I hate that as well, but sorry this waiting time is the big catch in TRT. Yes, some guys feel better immediately, but some guys feel worse, they need to wait and then feel better.

Also if you have high percentage of body fat design action plan to reduce it ASAP

@vonko1988

I have a very low body fat lol, also I do no aromatize excessively.

I am not supplementing with zinc alone, this creates other deficits and imbalances when supplemented by itself (copper and magnesium). Please research this

@vonko1988 what are you saying? Cypionate and Enanthate are virtually interchangeable. I’m telling him not to fear E2 yet you’re telling him he should lower it with zinc? Why? Do you know how many guys, including myself, have taken large amounts of zinc only to crash their libido? Read the study in this thread. Estrogen is responsible for libido. Don’t do anything whatsoever to purposely try to lower it. Leave it alone. Let it do its thing. Stop fearing E2! Also the OP stated that’s he quite lean and there was zero mention of excessive aromatization. If YOU are taking 50mg of zinc stop now. Again, you are in the fledgling stages of TRT, only a few weeks into your first protocol, and in no position by any stretch of the imagination to be dishing out advice here.

Agree on your stance with zinc. Supplementing with zinc is a no no by itself. Can create other imbalances. This guy @vonko1988 spreads false bad advice all over this forum

X2. @vonko1988 please research and understand what we are saying. Estrogen is very important for sexual function. It is actually thought that the actual enzyme responsible for T to E conversion is what drives libido. There are Estrogenic receptors through out the human body and they require certain levels of E for bodily function, included but not limited too… (libido, cognitive abilities, And mood regulation)… however there are limitations to over saturation of E2 receptors (alpha and beta) When activated in a saturated market (excessively high E2) can present with clinical symptoms (brain fog, anxiety, low penile sensitivity, low libido)

If a TRT patient does not feel symptom relief after being on a dedicated protocol and their Free T is too HIGH it is safe to assume high E2 will follow given no AI usage. If this is the case, this patient can drop the dosage a little and as a result the Estrogen will drop following the same path.

In @dbossas findings… majority of men with high end Free T (30+) feel better regardless of E2 level being high. I have to take his word for it, but do not completely rule out high E2 being problematic in light of everything else being perfect.

Also: many many men, think TRT is a magic fix. Exogenous T can not fix stress, life issues, neurotransmitter imbalances, and other things… if you had performance anxiety ED because of low T in the past… it’s possible you will still have ED when hormones are optimized. Anxiety is compounding and once you believe there is an issue (getting/maintaining erection) you’ve already lost… because you will constantly be thinking about this. The mind is all too powerful and the actual signaling process is important for an erection to occur.

Libido is generated within the mind, and is a good indicator of well being. If you are depressed, stressed, lack quality sleep, have marital relationship problems, etc… then having the best hormone profile is not going to fix things for you.

Trt is a tool to a better quality of life when and only when it was the only thing holding you back.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Have a merry Christmas @dbossa! Not sure why we are both reading T nation on Christmas lol. I am currently sitting on the couch while my GF scolds me to come to bed.

@grinnin Dude, I remained with the impression you started this thread complaining about e2 issues.

Im not asking for advice and help here, you are :smiley: And I will not stop the zinc, seems it works well for me and Im following a protocol by a doc who knows what he is doing. This for the copper is not entirely true because we get plenty of copper from the food, also magnesium of course everybody should supplement in sufficient amounts. If you dont like the idea of taking zinc and prefer to use anastrozol instead…your choice

@dbossa cypionate and enanthate my have the same half lives, but at the end they are different esters. If they were absolutely identical they would be called the same way, right?

Merry Christmas to you as well. I’m at the in-laws in North Eastern Quebec for a week in the middle nowhere with 4 screaming kids so this is a distraction for me :joy:

Holy shit I will not take an AI! Lol please read the above posts. AI isn’t needed when T dosage is appropriate. Just let E2 follow serum T

Test Cyp and Test E are are almost identical one is 69 grams pure T and the other 70 grams. Also half lives are a little different. But they are in reality the same… nothing about the two would change “aromatization rates”

@vonko1988 I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, your doc is a moron. Even with everything you know about E2 being fine you’re still trying to manipulate it with high levels of zinc, acting as an AI, and feel copper is unnecessary. You’ve also stated in other threads that you started feeling like shit recently. Get your own shit figured out before giving advice to others!

Haha that doesn’t sound like too much fun. Although my gf is probably the equivalent of 4 screaming kids… she is a pain in the ass sometimes.

This exactly. Supplementing with zinc by itself is proven to create other deficits and imbalances. Every post I read From @vonko1988 makes me want to log out of T nation.

I can tell, spreading terrible advice like he is doing is what’s going to get a lot of people mixed up.
