Anyone have any idea if a High Eq (600mg/wk) + Low Test (400mg/wk) would be a good idea?
The goal is to increase recovery rate for strength training and Muay Thai.
Also, to help healing an elbow surgery. The bones are good. The ligaments are little stiff. I’ve read online (so must be true) that Eq increases collagen production while high test decreases it.
The idea is a little bit like High Tren and Low Test, to keep aromatization/water weight gain to a minimum.
The obvious few lbs of lean gain would be welcome but not the goal. So is the fat loss.
Is your Muay Thai competitive or recreational? Too much steroids usually work against a ring fighter, after 1-2 rounds they seem to gas out. Minimal steroids to aid recovery seems to be more common, and effective.
Ok I just never heard about doing Hi Eg/Low Test. If anyone could foresee any issues, let me know. Usually it’s the other way around, Hi Test/Low(er) Eq.
Never did Eq before. Most seems to agree that the sweet, for most, is around 400-600mg/wk.
I might throw in a kicker (Tbol-40mg/day) for the first few (4-ish) weeks until the Eq kick in. Although, Tbol, is probably the ‘slowest’ oral to kick in.
Also, on TRT @ 200mg/wk.
MT is recreational. Maybe real life if the wife and I go out on a Sat night and someone is too stupid/drunk and hit on my wife. But at 6’1" 230lbs @ an internet 8%bf (real life more like 12-13%bf), usually, most stay away from me.
I would assume most people who gear up and get into a ring haven’t learned to pace themselves and try to go for the quickest knock out. Conditioning is key.
Size is definitely not a priority. Will see how it affects recovery and strength. If it can help (with the extra) to burn a little bit of fat that’ll be great. I should say, that’s what the wife would like. lol
