“And after months of negotiations (and first reported by this very website months ago), the producers of X2 have finally signed on the dotted line and officially announced that Hatley Castle on the Royal Roads University grounds in Victoria will become the new Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters. As reported by Victoria’s Times Columnist newspaper yesterday, at least three of the film’s stars – Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman – will be present at Hatley Castle the week of June 17 to film scenes there. Second-unit shooting will follow shortly thereafter.”

That’s on the way to Langford (hick town). Nowhere near me. There was a guy named Dunsmuir who was the 2nd richest guy in western North America (after Rockefeller I guess) & he built Craigdarroch Castle (close to downtown) & I think it was his son who built Hatley Castle. U gonna check it out cuz its in a movie? I had an old buddy who visited me when I lived in L.A. He spent an entire day tracking down San Dimas High School from Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure! Had some kids snap his photo in front of the school… lol
Ive been to San Dimas and saw the high school and the circle K conveinience store where the phone booth was. Not that this is a major accomplishment though.
