i’ve spoken to a few doctors regarding its use and this is the conclusion.
hcg mimics lh. we all know that lh is what stimulates the testes into producing testosteronewhen you are using ANY steroid, the brain senses an overabundance of androgens. to maintain the desired balance(according to one’s own body),your hypothalamus sends a signal to the pituitary gland to slow down production of LH since it feels too much is circulating in the system.remember, all steroids have at least some androgenic activity and therefore all create some sort of inhibition. estrogen causes inhibition as well;men produce testosterone and testosterone converts to estrogen. when estrogen levels are high, the brain thinks its because testosterone levels are too high and therefore converting to too much estrogen. this causes a negative feedback becuase to lower estrogen, the body has to lower testosterone,at least thats what it thinks it has to do and to accomplish that,it decreases lh production. those are two ways in which steroids inhibit natural testosterone. if anybody says a certain steroid won’t cause inhibition because it does’nt convert to estrogen,i’m going to vomit. anyway, back to HCG. hcg is not synthetic lh but merely mimics it. in other words, the body recognizes hcg as lh. when you inject hcg,the testes recognize it as lh and is able to be stimulated into producing testosterone, just as it would if your own natural lh was being producedwhen we use anabolics for a while, our bodies stop producing lh and the testes are not able to be stimulated into producing testosterone. when this happens, they atrophy(shrink). this shrinkage happens because they are’nt being used. picture and guy who has his arm in a cast, after the cast is removed, his arm is noticably smaller than the other. why? because he has’nt used it because it was in a cast. same with the testes.in order to avid this or at least minimize this, bodybuilders use hcg in small dosages incrementally throughout a cycle. remember, there are cells in the testes, and if they remain inactive for any length of time you run the risk of killing those cells as well as building up scar tissue around the testes. this in itself can decrease the testes sensitivty to lh. small amounts of hcg(lower dosages) are not going to hurt you. the low dosages are merely going to mimic what your body would be using naturally. if on the other hand you did incorporate a high dosage hcg regiment, your body could become accostomed to such high dosages and build up a tolerence so to speak, thus not responding to more normal stimulation, such as a natural lh signal.keep in mind, hcg can cause inhibition, your body will also sense that there is enough androgenic activity through the use of the hcg and will therefore stop or lower production of ones own lh as well. not to mention,if estrogen levels become elevated, inhibition will happen from that as well.bottom line, when cycling, use hcg in small dosages intermittenly in order tp prevent your testes from becoming too atrophied the less atrophied they are at the end of a cycle, the faster the recovery.in my view, clomid is the best for recovery for it directly blocks estrogen in the hypothalamus.for me,nolvadex is not as effective in raising lh levels. nolvadex is more breast tissue specific. arimidex, i have not used.

This is pretty much what was said in the other thread. Thanks for your input.
