Help with Thyroid Test/Numbers

Little background, I’m young for those that don’t know me, 19. My mother has hypothyroidism which does run in families. For a variety of reasons, I got my numbers checked and they are low, I’d like some suggestions from you medical types on where I should go from here. Should I talk to my GP more, speak with an endocrinologist or just what should I do?

Tests
TSH-.818uIU/mL Reference interval is .350-5.500
On the results "Adult TSH concentrations below 5.5 uIU/mL do not rule out the presence of subclinical hypothyroidism.

T3-104, reference interval: 85-205

T4-5.6 ref. interval:4.5-12.0

Thoughts?

Well, I’m learning how to interpret to I guess lower is better with TSH at least so there I’m good.

I’ll update once I learn how to interpret the others.

Thanks for the thoughts Bushy, I realize what you said about the TSH level upon more research.

I got the test because of low energy levels, and low body temp. (been tracking it for a couple months). I mask low energy levels with caffeine use. I just added that my mother has it because I realized it runs in families which I did not know before.

But I got it done because I’m intolerant to coldness and get cold easily, which lead me to tracking my body temp, which is always low, and like I said already, low energy levels.

Thanks for your input, Bushy.

I also read on some site, (I’ll look for it) that all 3 numbers being on the lower end of the ranges could indicate adrenal fatigue. Which would be understandable given my high tolerance to stimulants. Unfortunately, we know how the medical community views AF.

I do agree with you, doesn’t make much sense to me either. I will try to pick up some kelp tabs and continue to track my temperature an energy levels. Also, I think I’m gonna try to stop all stims for a while, I’m also using Rhodiola so that might help that the adrenals. I hear vitamin C is good as well.

Thanks again Bushy.
